There is defense in NBA Live 07 and in 08. You guys play on one character right? Yea, I thought so. If you memorize all the positions and switch quickly you can play amazing defense. NBA Live is for a pro guys you can stick to 2k7 and 2k8 with your lock on stick (lol). I play online 07 still and I blow everyone I play out by 20 in the first quarter then they quit. Everyone I play uses one character and tries to play defense, you can’t play defense like that it takes skill. Then when they do play defense they run back and forth and get shook. Why doesn’t that happen to me? Cause I use skill and bump them backwards if they even think of driving. Stop blaming this game for lack of defense and learn how to play. There are so many small things in this game that you guys don’t even know how to utilize that is all player controlled not relying on computer AI.

Madden has Superstar mode and NCAA Football has Legend. Why isn’t there one for NBA Live I’ve been dying for Superstar mode on live ever since madden got it on 06.

thats the same problem with live 07 and 06 i had, not enough defense, too easy to dunk with, and a lot i mean a loooot of completed alley-oops. since it happened again, i fear that its gonna be a reality in 08 so im pretty sure im gonna stick to 2k

Hey there good to have you here.

To be honest I don’t remember much about the shot blocking. It didn’t stand out one way or the other to me.

I didn’t see any saving of balls going out of bounds. You’ll probably just step out of bounds if you attempt something like that.

The defense was very weak, nearly impossible to stop the opposition from scoring down low. This is something they’ve assured us they’re working on though.

hey pasta, i’m an italian guy, so sorry for ma ybad english.

i would to know how has been improved the shot blocking..i mean, in the last titles of the ea sports, it was really bad and unrealistic.

for example, you’ve noticed something wrong with shot blocking in nba08?…i mean, for example, is there the possibility to block and attempt swatting the ball on the glass?

how it feels the shot blocking in general?

second question:

you know that in last versions of this game, it was really impossible to save the ball from the out of the bounds….i mean, it was impossible to select the player and tip the ball avoiding an out of the bounds.

now it’s possible to save the ball???

i think this is a “must have” into a basketball game

……………..

third question:

defense…you feel like you have the possibility to stop the opposite players or it’s still impossible to do something on D.?

The indication that I was given was that Live would run at 60fps on both the 360 and PS3. I asked this after the news about the football games came out.

Of course anythign can happen, we didnt hear about the football games until just now. I suppose its possible that the PS3 could end up the same way for Live, but as of now they’re shooting for the 60.

I know both madden and live run at 60fps on the Xbox 360, I also know that madden will only run at 30fps on the PS3. Do u know if Live will run at 60 for PS3?

Boss- that is actually one thing that is listed under embargo for us. In a few days I’ll actually be able to talk more about a couple aspects of the game.

Dr Logic- I’ll be posting up news items for Fifa. I don’t have much experience with that game though so its something that makes it difficult for me to comment on, things like comparing to last year. I did play it but not very much. So I’ll at least have some stuff coming for that game.

Why don’t you do research on EA sports’ FIFA series. Soccer is a sport you know, in fact, the world game.
With FIFA 08 right around the corner there are some open ears, i mean eyes.
