NBA Live 08 sizzle trailer
by IGN has posted up a sizzle trailer for NBA Live 08. If there is one thing you can always rely on, it’s that EA will put out trailers that really make the game seem exciting. Despite the issues that I laid out in my community day report, after watching this I get the itch to get back playing the game some more. It really is unprecedented the amount of access, info, and media out on a game that is still four months away from release.

Maybe its just me, but i still feel like the movement of the players doesn’t look very realistic. From their shot, to the way they jump it just looks a bit cartoony to me. Granted it could just be that my eye has been trained to 2k’s animations for the last 9 months, but it doesn’t look like an actual NBA basketball game, or as smooth as 2k7, at least from an animation perspective. Pasta, how would you say the animations compared(2k7 vs live08) when you were actually playing live08?

I said in the other topic that I was skepticall about the graphics (eventhough I know that the main concern for Live is on the gameplay side of things)but this trailer gave me a good indication that the palyer models once again are on par with the 06 version. The Jameer Nelson close-up is awesome, keep up EA-Canada, I want my beloved NBA Live to be great this year.
