Weekly Recap: July 2nd-8th

With E3 coming this week a lot is being held back. NBA Live 08 kept its strong push going though, revealing a handful of new features and I was able to talk about my thoughts on the Hot Spots. NCAA Football and All-Pro Football are to the point where everyone is just waiting on their demos. The Madden Community Day planned for this coming week was changed into an NCAA Football centric event. Chris Paul has been chosen to be the NBA 2K8 cover athlete.

This should be a pretty big week. EA will be featuring five different games, although we know many of the details about them already. 2K will have an opportunity to get the word out on what to expect from their NBA and NHL titles. A demo for both NCAA Football and All-Pro should be coming in conjunction with the event. And, as always, there could be some surprises.

Check back to the site often this week for all the latest news and media coming out of E3.

NCAA might be tomorrow the 10th, I’m predicting Wednesday though. All-Pro I would expect this week too, but they havent given a clear indication of a specific day that it might come. Wed/Thu makes sense for them too though.

Problem is The Bigs was supposed to have a demo out for its release, and it still hasn’t come. So you never can know for sure.
