Amidst all the discussion regarding the differences in framerate between the 360 and PS3 versions of Madden 08, NCAA Football 08, and All-Pro Football 2K8 (360=60fps, PS3=30fps) brings news regarding NBA Live 08.
*Edit: Since this posting NHL 08 has also been confirmed to be 60fps on the 360 but only 30fps on the PS3.
EA has been discussing the 60fps that Live will have since they began marketing the game. However with the story being how they (along with 2K) weren't able to get their football titles to run at 60fps on the PS3, some may have begun to wonder if the same would occur with the upcoming basketball games.
I have however received confirmation from EA that Live will run at 60fps on both systems. This is a good sign that it's just a matter of time before these companies are able to get all their sports titles running at 60fps consistently on the 360 and PS3.

Why didn’t they do this with Madden 08?
Come on EA…

Its significantly easier to get 60fps out of a game with 10 active players at one time rather than one with 22. Plus we’re talking 1 1/2 months that Madden comes out before Live. Thats a good reason why none of the football titles, including APF, were able to do 60 this year on the PS3.

I hope 2K8 runs at 60fps for the ps3
