yah Ron Mexico would of made it a little funny and woulda just slipped away…BUT having it say Vick not only is distasteful (i mean yah its funny but c’mon) but a problem because if gametrailers.com makes it seem like 2k made that it doesnt show well that they respect the NFL license…even though im sure being such a succesful company they didnt post this video.

Here you go, via joystiq in regards to the OJ trailer (and can assume then the Vick one as well):

Now, here is the key element to all of this: We asked, “Did 2K make the video for GameTrailers, therefore it being possible for [2K] to be implicated as having some hand in creating controversy?”

The 2K Sports spokesperson said, “No, to the best of my knowledge, we didn’t make that video.” A second call from 2K Sports confirms that they did not make the video.

There is NO way that 2K Sports produced a trailer for their game featuring an NFL player. No way. They went beyond what most people figured they would do in restricting the game in order to not upset the NFL.

Why are you blaming GameTrailers.com? The only content that they produce are interviews. 2K Sports made the game and the video, not GT. Please get your facts straight.

cool mad cow… but thats how it is here, and i know they will not sell more that EA’s titles but the game is putting a dent in the comp w/ no license (check some of the cats on here that have copped APF instead of college… i got both duke)

Madden will sell cause its the only NFL drug in town… If you have one dealer and no comp, the ones that wanna get high are gonna cop from the one dealer regardless… GUESS YOU ARE A FIEND…
