You’ve got some nice young chips to play with now. Gerald Green will be a superstar. Al Jefferson is getting better. You can get something nice for Gomes in a trade. The top teams in the league would love to acquire him. You’ll have to get rid of Blount and Ricky Davis. They will clash with the young players.

No way Jose (i just wanted to say that)

but in no way is KG over-rated….He’s a guy who plays his heart out every night. I read a quote one GM said about to the likes of “He plays game 61 @ Atlanta the same way he plays the Western Conf. Finals”.

Assuming all stay healthy(big assumption), the Celtics are the team to beat in the Atlantic Division. As for the Twolves, I’d like to think they could have gotten a better deal but as is usually the case with superstar trades they got 60 cents on the dollar (ie. AI.

Have Twolve fans watching your team struggle to win 30 games.

i think KG is officaily overrated…he is getting old he might not be as affective…celtics will be a better team but timberwovles will be better now too there getting alot of new players and the picks give t-wolves a better chance…as for the basketball games we will see celtics as a high ranking maybe even in the 90s…we never know

I would like to see a big trade like this change the way trades are handled in games. Five players and two picks for one guy isn’t difficult, it’s impossible. The options aren’t there. You also can’t do three and four way trades! I think it is time games get redrafted to allow things like this. It adds a certain level of realism to the game to be able to make dynamic trades.

thetruth…how about online play? i believe that was the point. i mean how many people used the 49ers in Madden online last year, and how many do you think will use them this year. Calling him ridiculous for saying big offseason moves won’t impact play is ridiculous.

The trade means nothing to video games. Authentic rosters are a minor feature that has been elevated to a major feature by marketing. The important thing in a game is the play. Last year, for example, NBA Live had authentic rosters but it had PG domination, no substitutions, and overall poor game play.

The emperor has no clothes. The point that the trade impacts the teams in video game play is ridiculous. Teams can be customized.

As far as the games go, Celtic’s will definitely get a lot of use online. KG will likely be rated a top 5 guy and Pierce and Allen will also be very good. Anytime you have 2 or more stars on a team, they’re sure to get a lot of use in the games.

Garnett isn’t going to make too big a deal, like the article said the two areas where there gonna hurt at is PG and C, and PG is strong in my opinion in the eastern conference. They’ll make the playoffs atleast…
