Yes, I was told specifically that both the 360 and PS3 will be 60fps.

I’ll see if I can double-confirm this cause it was a month ago that I was told the info and that I could spread the word on it. I suppose things could have changed but if they have I haven’t been told so.

I will buy Live but its stil just wack. I mean the achievements are unreal. 56 rebounds dude please. 31 rebounds. I do like the dream team lineup one though.

I just wish the accomplishments were a little bit more varied, it seems like every EA game or sports game in general has the usual achievements…

A few random certain stats that you have too get, usually not too hard but some are a challenge. A few ridiculous records you have to try and break, a few best record/championship achievements for dynasty mode and then a couple “play a ranked game” type achievements.

Meh…just…meh.

Achievements and sportsgames dont really mix. Its all good if the achievement comes for accomplishing something during the game, but the 15 minute qtr, rookie level, use 2 controllers, adjust the sliders, method of going for sports achievements is something that I will not do. I did it for nba2k7 and then I realized someday I will be on my deathbed and bad enough to think of the hours I wasted playing videogames, but the hours wasted not even enjoying the videogame just to collect meaningless achievement points?

sure I understand that, it doesnt have to be dominated by them. But you’re assuming that everyone plays offline vs the CPU. What about the people who generally play multiplayer? There are those people out there also. It should be a mix.

I agree I can’t stand the achievement rewarding for cheated stats.

But I do love all this info EA is giving us.

I disagree with Padre a bit on this one. There are people that don’t have acess to online features or simply don’t mind playing online at all (it’s not my case but anyway). Games that focus too much on online achievements turn those gamers off from the whole achievements experience, although I’ll admit that it might be a way to bring them in. I like the idea of braking records though.
