All of this is nothing new, EA rates low 2K rate to high.

The Suns rating is okay but the Mavs are nowhere near the Suns or the Spurs. Lets give San Antonio a little more respect (even though i can’t stand them).

I just don’t get the mavs high marks and the wizards should be higher. I do like that EA isn’t just throwing around 90′s all over the place. The rating do seem balanced.

As far as player rating, those can be tweaked under edit player right? I so i don’t see that big of a reason to be alarmed.

Underestimated teams:

Spurs (excuse me, but the actual dinasty-team is the 4th? Are they watching REAL NBA matches?)

Magic (inside-Howard, outside-Lewis, they will be in the playoff, for sure)

Celtics (3 all stars in the starting line-up… What else do You need, to be one of the top 5 NBA team?)

Overestimated teams:

Nets (why would they be better, than last year?)

Mavs (I would say 82-83…)

Rockets (not a top 3 team, even if McGrady’s back is healthy)

Lebron should have a higher rating than kobe. Lebrons a better rebounder, jumps higher, runs faster, sees the floor better,Dunks better, makes his teammates better and shoots a better fg%.Kobe edges him in defense {although lebrons is getting better.}oh and by the way Lebrons took his team to the final by himself. Where is B.Roy? I’d say the reigning ROY should be in the Top 20 2-guards and certainly rated better than Foye – who didn’t win ROY. I understand the Blazers still suck and are on the rise, but I expected Roy to get recognized.

Labron is no where near Kobe in overall talent. Hell for that matter I wouldn’t say Labron is better than D wade who DOES have a ring (and please don’t say it’s because he has shaq). Ive heard some dumb ass statements before but to say Labron took his team the final by himself is phuckin retarded. im sorry but these ratings are awful just take a look at the stats you can tell the threw a bunch of retards in a room and they came out with these ratings only Yoa,Amare,and Duncun who are all rated in the top 4 averaged more ppg than eddy curry and he’s ranked 14???? i mean c’mon channing injury prone frye put up less then 10 ppg and he got 2 ratings better than curry

This is starting to get rediculous, I mean how in the world can you say that josh howard is right behind melo IM not saying that they didn’t get josh right what im saying is Melo does not get the respect from ea sport that he should. If he had a better year then last, and last year his rating was an 86 then how could it be that again. Plus if you compare the stats wich I happen to do on nba .com Melo had a better season all together Melo is a super star in this league, and yet he has a rating of 86. thats probably the only thing I can complain about as far as the game is concerned is some of these player ratings.

Paul pierce in not better then Melo. Melo is arguably the best true small foward in this game. Lebron I would put him as a 2, but never the less there is no way that pierce has the edge over Melo

heres a little process we can all go through so were all happy

when you get your game, go to edit a player and fix their ratings so there realistic(no bullshit like making pat burke a 88 eventhough he should be haha)save your rosters and we should all be happy…yes ea have got some players very wrong, as good as gilbert is and iverson was steve nash should clearly be top ranked, gilbert 2nd since he is young and wonderful player and iverson 3rd cause eventhough he can still dominate the game he aint as good as his when he was peaking a few years back and dnt get me started on power forwards EA got them all totally wrong

Carlos Boozer should be a 87. Shaq is the best center. The rest is all good. Cavaliers are under rated. they should be a 84.
