NBA 2K8 Yao

The top 25 player ratings per position in NBA 2K8 have been released thanks to Gametap. Both Greg Oden and Kevin Durant come in with an 80 rating. It is unknown what will happen with Oden when roster updates come about. The biggest question may be how Al Horford ended up being rated better than both.

Wade and McGrady are no,longer good, due to injuries. James is not good at all, his ego is just talking because he came straight from High School. Sorry to all Chicago fans, but no Bull deserves to be in the 80's, not even Larry Hughes. Pau Gasol is not good. I know that these ratings, not mine, are high, but NBA Live 08's aren't low, they just nowhere close to being in the correct spots. And I just hate that everyone thinks that Caron is a Shooting Guard. Stackhouse is a Small Forward. Dalembert should be the sixth or seventh rated Center and Ben Wallace doesn't deserve to be in the top 20, and by the way he is a Power Foward. Oden should be in the 60's.

I think the 76ers were very overlooked in this game and as a sixers fan I plan to no purchase it. Igoudala an 83? Hes easily one of the top two gaurds in the leauge. Hes at least a 90 based on defense and athletisism alone. How can a team that has already clinched a playoff spot this year be rated so horible. I love 2K sports games but this is very disapointing.

only a couple things are weird about the game...

main thing is monta ellis he throws everything off being a 84
every player you look at with a low rating you compaire him to mona ellis and say his game is just not as good as his. AKA Brandon Roy or Iggy. Some players need a overall boost but i am sure it will come with the roster updates and whoever said oden nees to be deleted it stupid because that ruins franchise mode.

The ratings are spot on, 2k don't rate their games, they use STATS. inc, who have every sports players rated, so don't get into all this ea vs. 2k, 2k gets it right all the time

horford is the best rookie because hes the best all-around player....he can rebound, block shots, knock down the 15-footer, and post you up...oden is like a young dwight howard, great defender and rebounder with a shotty post game...durant is shooter...he only dominated the glass in college because of his leaping ability and height...and stop crying, kobe is and will always be better than lebrick james...lets see...kobe gets more rebounds, more assists, and more points...why is not the MVP??...the lakers wouldnt even contend for a playoff spot without him...the cavs would at least make the playoffs without lebron
