NBA Live 08 full game: Rockets @ Sonics

Durant Live 08

As soon as I got my copy of NBA Live 08 I jumped right into a game without adjusting anything. It defaulted to Superstar difficulty. This game features the Houston Rockets @ Seattle Sonics. It is broken down by quarter, each running about eight minutes long.

The next thing I’ll be working on is a video made up of go-to moves in the practice gym. If you have any specific players you’d like to see their moves demonstrated drop the names in the comments.

Great job Pasta! Thanks for the info. I linked your site to a couple of hunger NBA live fans. Watched the 1st quarter action, and I can say I’m impressed. The defense, with out slider adjustment look pretty solid. Also it looked pretty realistic gameplay wise as well. One dunk, awesome! Nice to see guys just can’t fly to the lane, like in the past. And did anyone notice the body comparisions? Yao is HUGE. Geez, in a good way! I like how you can teel people apart as well. On to the second video.

is your head ringing from all the requests?

How do you feel the inside game, EA seemed to be pretty proud of the new inside game this year. From what i can see the only thing that looks a bit disappointing is the players just standing around away from the ball, I’m sorry but i just don’t see the movement EA claims to have add this year. What are you thought on this Padre?

I guess the one dunk a quarter theory went out the door in the second (lol) Sliders should adjust that though. I noticed the commentary more in the second quarter. Some great add in facts about players and some new commentary as well. Some of the older stuff, but didn’t repeat like it used to. I also saw you use some go to moves with Kevin Durant. Nice touch *thanks* On to third quarter.

chalik360 – sorry I am a proud PS3 owner, even though my friends are Xbox owners. They tried hard to convert me, especially with the release of Halo 3. I also agree with the junkie fix post. I have been searching on-line to find good info, vids, and feedback about this game. This is by far the best one so far! I mean honestly 4 quarters of gameplay, go to moves videos and then taking requests, as well as review writing? Your awesome man, take you time and thanks for everything.

I noticed it was slow too, but you can fix that with the game sliders. I actually liked the speed though. In the demo the game was to fast and players would dunk at speeds that were unrealistic.

oh man no throwbacks..see its the small things that might make 2k better…2k actually has they players move out the bench and checkin in at the table, they got mascot n cheerleaders doing something during timeouts…but in the ps3 demo i found that on fastbreaks it is wayy tooo slow… unfortunantly i have a feeling 2k is gonna be the better nba game….again but my main question does tmac actually look like tmac this time?? n is his jumper look real?

The sound is great though, really nice, everything else is avg..below avg.. Wheres the sig shots. Tmac shot looks SO GENERIC. This isnt next gen as Alburt Poohole would say.

Yo that shit is terrible, horrible shooting animations. The random passing to nobody to out of bounce, wtf is up with that. The steal feature is out of wack cuz half the time it doesnt even look like the player even touches the ball when he steals it, shit looks imaginary. Sliding is a premium in this game i see. No real signature shot animations for the stars, McGrady dont shoot like that, not even close. The only thing this shit got going for it is the intro’s, the commentary and the post game. Otherwise this game is trash.
