NBA Live 08 full game: Bulls @ Lakers

This game features the Chicago Bulls vs LA Lakers on All-Star difficulty. Watch to see how Kobe Bryant compares to other players seen in the videos. Can he dominate in the game like he does in real life?
Current plan is to post a Charlotte @ Atlanta on Sunday, and Golden State @ Phoenix on Monday. I’ll also try to record an online game to compare head-to-head to the ones I’ve played against the CPU.

It was nice can’t wait to see the char game thanks for the show but I don’t know if anyone else noticed that jokaim noah was kinda buff is there any way to tone that down a little thanks and also is that all you have so far for the dynasty if it is don’t worry the game will be out on tuesday thanks.

OH NO, SAY IT AINT SO……..
slide the video player to the 1:12 mark of the video of the 3rd quarter. This is really sad to see this shit still going on. The ball passes right through the Bulls defenders chest on the brake. I don’t think it’s nit picky to say at this point in the series this shouldn’t be going on.
Padre did you notice this going on in the game often or was this just one of those freak moments?

Is it me or is it really easy to grab stela s/strip the ball in this game? And also really easy to score. I have played the demo a lot and you can strip guys like Parker and Lebron easily.
I remember when i first got the the new nba lives i could not beat the cpu at All-star level.

Isn’t that the benefit to this blog, to openly talk about the game good or bad. Who benefits from not pointing things out. I think if the video game industry see fit to slap a $59.99 sticker on a product they better damn well expect people to pay attention to the small things. True no game is perfect and just because people are pointing out the issues with Live doesn’t mean we think 2K is better. I’m sure the folks at EA are very aware of this blog and it’s usefulness. So forgive me but it sounds like you are telling us fans of the title not to take issue with anything and just go buy something else, bad idea.
Oh and i hardly call forking over $59.99 on a video game spoiled.

***Question for Padre****
Pasta would you please be able to clearify the crossed eyed glitch? In the demo Gil comes out in the arena and he’s eye are crossed, this also happens in the game as well with other stars. Does this happen in the final build.
There are also periods of slow down, does this happen in the final build that you noticed? From the videos it doesn’t look like it. Just wanted clearification.

live still looks very herky jerky and unless its a dunk i see few plays above the rim….there is a kobe layup in the first qtr that looks like something i would see in one of my work league games where the guys over 40 barely get any lift

For the past 5 or 6 years, I have been a die hard NBA Live fan. However, 06 and 07 were, of course, underachieving. I have Live 08 on reserve and I will be going to get it tomorrow. From the looks of some of the games I have seen Pasta play, the game does look very good, especially for online play. However, there are still a lot of things that could be better… I told myself that if this game wasn’t up to speed with 2K8, then I was gonna make the switch. However, from the looks of it, I will continue to be an NBA Live fan…overall, great work for EA Sports!!

hey nice videos…can’t w8 to get a copy. I am a live fan. I am thrilled with the upcomng live 08. It’s so better than 07. However, checking the 2k8 videos, men, pretty amazing. If live 08 ’s great, 2k8’s amazing..check it out yourselves. EA ’s doin a nice job improving but 2k8 people are more than a step ahead. Just check it…The only thing that’s not so good with 2k8, they don’t have a PC platform of the game.
