NBA Live 08 full online game: Kings @ Warriors

I’m not the biggest Live fan anymore. Haven’t been for some time. But I’ve gotta admit that i’m EXTREMELY impressed with this online game that was played with absolutely no lag. It was so seamless…almost like the opponent was sitting right next to you pasta. Gotta give kudos to Live. Having seen the full version of 2K8, I still FIRMLY believe that it’s a superior game to Live, but it looks as if Live is back with a bang after being AWOL in 07′. The fact that Live is much improved this year and 2K is rock solid once again will only force the two companies to push the envelope and continue to create high quality basketball games which means we’ll all win (2K and Live fans).

I’m still very much on the fence between Live and 2k.
I was, however, very impressed with the “loudness” of the Oracle Arena; the crowd’s chants seemed so lifelike! I love the graphics, but am not sold on the gameplay quite yet. You know 2k will deliver the gameplay so its a tough decision.

Could you post the entire roster of the Toronto Raptors? And if possible, their ratings.

Wow, looks great. I am onboard, will pick it. Man, your opponent had one shot over and over. Shame he almost won, good job down the stretch. I sure would like to see more fatigue involved, but I hope that’s something my friends and I can do with sliders online.

@Iverson4Life: It seemed so life-like because it was. I remember reading a blog entry on Live by one of the producers (over at IGN I think) that stated they actually recorded the crowd at the Oracle when the Warriors knocked out the Mavs in game six. Loud indeed!!

This looks really good to me. No lag whatsoever and gameplay seems fluid when playing against a human opponent. It did seem real easy to run and gun and it looked to be effective also. Defense may become a problem with cheesers online.
I noticed that your opponent didn’t bother to defend himself on ball.
the game looks good to me so far. I guess i’ll see what it’s about soon. Since i’m in the netherlands i will have to wait longer than mostof you guys, but i will see yall online.

All I can say about the gamestop review is that you cant go by what other peoples opinions are, you have to play the game for yaself and make ur own judgement
with that being said to all my TRUE NBA LIVE FANS.. Tomorrow is the Day.. Pasta, Great online vid.. also, good job towards the end of game down the stretch..

That’s for sure a mess up by gamestop like they always do!
I was very scared at first, but realized there is no way Live 08 could get a score like that!

How do you get the vid straight from the 360 to your computer?? I really want to know because I’m always playing videogames and want to make a vid, but I have to film the TV with a digital camera (very bad quality)

umm i notice there is a lot of missing in this game..the shooting must be terrible lol and some people complain about too many shots being made
