Patch for Madden 08 nearly here

I have been able to confirm that the highly anticipated patch for Madden 08 (360 and PS3) has reached the certification stage. That means should the testing be completed smoothly it will be released in the very near future. I would expect it within the next two weeks.
This coming patch, as I noted about a month ago, is expected to address more highly publicized issues than the first patch did. That includes the abnormally high rate of fumbles and freezes in franchise mode. Once it is released I should have a detailed list of what the patch addressed.

When the patch is out will it be updated as soon as u put the disk in and it will ask there is a update or do u hav to go on an online match for it to download like the roster updates

There has been no official announcement from EA regarding any sort of patch. Customer service still advises that the latest roster patch will fix the franchise mode.

Bruce, why do you always start crap everywhere I see you…and it’s usually about this franchise freeze/patch release issue. Just let it go man…and let those who care about it, get their info about the patch. You’re clearly not talking to the right people, if you’re being advised of such a BS thing. Isn’t it funny how pastapadre.com had the info, and had it posted…around the same time I posted it on the other boards? Gee, you think we both might have gotten the same info? I’m thinkin’ that’s probably the case, and there’s a 2nd patch coming. So, quit being a douche, and go headbutt a sidewalk guy…because your negativity on every board your on…is unnecessary and unwanted.

I downloaded the new rosters and when I make a franchise with the rams, Train active team doesn’t appear, I did the samething for the other team and it worked…can anyone help me?

OUT of ALL the things you need to FIX! Its the fact that players in FRANCHISE MODE dont get ANY better, even after 4 straight pro bowls, or MVP awards! This is ridiculous!
Because the players dont get any better in franchise mode, is why i think this is the WORST MADDEN TO DATE, & that is the only reason!

i totally agree with u Mantis, i ran for 2,500 yards with a fifth round pick and his stats didn’t even move.
by time this “patch” comes out 2009 will be here…..with a lot more glitches
and i will be like millions of other idiots and buy it

I have never played Madden online before, so I have some questions on how to get this patch when it comes out. Is online the only way to get the new patch? Is there anything else I need to know?
