Comments on: EA clarifies on Madden 08 franchise fix in upcoming patch

Hey seems like you guys are Madden gurus…here’s a question.

How do you negotiate contracts for the coaches in franchise mode. I have a season going, my contracts are all set for my players but my coaches morale is low and I have to negotiate, according to the owner, I am underpaying my guys.

So where do you find that? I know where you negotiate for the players, is it somewhere in there too? Because in the drop-down menu I don’t see coaches, only offense, defense and their positions.

Will the patch fix the training in franchise mode caus e it works one week not the next and will franchise be able to play online like last years game.

Hey Pasta, thanks for the info…

Did the patch get recalled and no longer going through certification? They had said 2 weeks and it’s far past that now.

I’m really shocked at EA’s attitude toward it’s customers here and the information they give/DON’T give.

Haven’t really heard more. Conservatively I think it’ll be out by Thanksgiving. Theres no way to know when it’ll clear through so its just a waiting game now.

Hey Pasta, thanks for all the great info brotha. I was wondering, I have a 360, and wanted to know if they would be able to let us change a players position in franchise mode with a patch or something.

no not yet. It will prompt you to download an update before you can play the game.

So for Madden 08 on 360… is there a patch available to fix franchise mode yet? If so… How do I download it?
