Why want they add #89 Tony Curtis to Dallas Cowboys roster. He is starting to get involved in the dallas offense a little, they need to show him some love.

I hope they do something with the seahawks on the next roster updates. Hackett needs to become faster and his catching along with Burleson needs to go up I know he was injured but he is a baller and deserves to be raised just like! I also believe Hass should become an accurate qb. MoMo deserves to have his ratings promoted he is running fast and hard I like how they demoted a former MVP Alexander deserved to have his Demoted he was playing injured and it showed (slow and clumsy)

WHATS GOING ON WITH THE ROSTERS FOR PS2 DAMN.
November 20, 2007 at 3:34 pm
Man WR Andre Johnson for the Texans is a top 5 or 6 reciever in the league I dont get why he doesnt have a the weapons that Chad Johnson or T.O has he is just as good. And if he stays healthy he’ll show it. Mario Williams is also under rated he is always in the backfield its just a matter of sacking the QB. Who ever does the Roster changes needs to update it every week or atleast every 2. And they need to boost the ratings of the players right. A lot of players a over the league have steped up and gotten better but they dont get the ratings right. Its not just the Texans they dont boost up ratings right unless somebody is having a spectacular season.
November 21, 2007 at 10:58 am
Five complete roster updates this season already…and all five have been solid across the board. Now we hear they should update every week? And Seahawk WR’s are suddenly studs who need higher ratings? Last time anyone ever saw a Seahawk WR I’m willing to bet he was dropping the ball! Wes Welker a speed burner??? My god the man’s slow, but he’s elusive on cuts…that doesn’t mean he should be faster in the game. Apparently the NFL missed out on several thousand great general managers, and EA Sports missed out on qualified game creators. Just play da damn game!!!! (it is just a game you realize, right???)

Is EA going to fix the issue with the franchise mode running out of free agents 4 or 5 seasons in? If you haven’t had the problem, here it is:
It looks like undrafted and unsigned players dissapear and don’t end up in the free agent pool. As the other players retire, the game runs out of available free agents. It freezes the franchise once a computer team can’t fill out a roster.
I have a recent roster update, but it still runs out of players in franchise mode. Does EA even admit/acknowledge the problem?

O man Adrian Peterson should be like a fricken 99 already.
December 2, 2007 at 10:24 pm
tony curtis should be added to the cowboys with at least a 74 ovr. petersin should be a 95 and they need to fix the franchise mode. i also thought of that in the hall of fame mode, if ur player isn’t good, he shouldn’t be draftd and have to play in the NFL Europe until he is good enough for the real thing.

Where is my update? I own an Xbox 360 and I must say. Its been over 3 weeks since we got our update. I know the PS3’s getting worse. I am in the process of re-rating several of the underrated players. While downrating the overraters. I watched EVERY game (each 1 on DVR, not highlights) for week 12 and 13. By week 14, they will be done. Whether EA has release the update by then or not. Here are just a few samples of my modifications.
Panthers MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-Jon Beason is a beast. Hands down. Demetrius Williams is underrated to, but Jon Beason having an 84 OVR is simply discusting.
Bills MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-I’d have to say Angelo Crowell. Lynch needs a bit more love too but Angelo has top notch awareness-90+, is obviously a brick wall.
Dolphins MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-Soory Dolphins fans. I love the Dolphins, and it pains me to see them go through this, but other than Ronnie Brown and Ted Ginn NOT getting the ball. I just dont see it.
EDIT-I know Ronnie Brown is IR’d
Patriots MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-The Patriots are pretty much “perfect” according to the Madden rating team. F**king amazing yes, but, a 99 team OVR is heavily soaked up. For the Patriots, Wes Welker was underrated, but the rating team jumped on that right away. So i’d have to say Asante Samuel could use a little love. Kevin Faulk is better than Madden says too. They also need to replace his bad pic in Madden. He gets flagged as having one of the “faggiest” pictures ever.
Jets MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-David Harris is good. I really like WR Coles but his rating is accurate anyways.
Ravens MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER-I still dont see why they took Ray’s Smart Linebacker away when the game was in development. He is a great leader. Age may be getting him just a little, nonetheless, still Smart. I was impressed by Ngata’s performance. Derrick Mason is great but he always was. Clayton is just so up and down. I dont know what to say.

—————Starting from where I left off. I got some more rating modifications in since yesterday. Watching several highlight reels from week 12 and 13.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE 2/4<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Bengals most underrated player-This goes to Kenny Watson, who is outperforming Rudi Johnson with less carries. He smashes opposing defences. If the Bengals relied of running the ball more. He would have even more yards. Can’t blame em’ tho. Especially with the Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, and T.J combo.
Browns most underrated player-Browns QB Derik Anderson is having a decent season. His stats should really be bumped up at least 5-8 points. Braylon Edwards rating is up, but should be just a bit higher…
Broncos most underrated player-D.J Williams is fearless in the middle. At this point, he is easily a Brick Wall Defender and one of the best in the league.
Steelers most underrated player-More than 1 here. Ben has had a great year. Proving to have breakaway ability in the backfield. Still, the Speedster Willie also deserves a 3-5 point bump. Santonio Holmes, a deep threat I’d say, in addition to Najeh being good enough to start. Not over Willie though. Najeh could be use to offensively struggling teams like the Panthers or 49ers. Did I forget to mention James Harrison is a beast? With more forced fumbles than Asante has Interceptions, its apparent.
Texans most underrated player-Demeco Ryans has had a “Brick Wall” year and should have more fantasy draft value.
Colts most underrated player-I am deeply impressed with the accurate ratings with this team. Little to complain about here. Backup Kenton Keith has been doin’ his thing out there. Easily deserves more OVR.
Jaguars most underrated player- Many here. I am personally a big David Garrard fan(he attended at my High School). David Garrard though, tops all other OVR misratings. My modifications has his OVR at 95, a whopping 11 more than Madden previously had. David is not on top for yards. It must be said that he is deadly accurate. He just recieved his first INT out of well over 200 attemps against the Colts as the pass slid right off of the initial catcher into the hands of the Colts. Nonetheless, he has outstanding accuracy and is more deserving of the accuracy weapon than any other underrated player like him.
Titans most underrated player-Chris Brown(no not the singer…LOL), has impressed me strongly on the few runs he’s done. Powerful and worth a 4-7 point boost.
Chiefs most underrated player-C’mon Bowe! The Reciever from Louisiana state is making the nicest grabs i’ve seen in years… for a rookie. He is more of a threat than Madden makes him out to be.
Raiders most underrated player-This is the best 67 OVR team i’ve ever used. I’ve come to dominate 3 or 4 Patriot goons online. Aside from my success, the Raiders have established a few underrated players of note. Thomas Howard needs some bumping. My biggest problem here is JERRY PORTER. 81 OVR. Are you f**king kidding me? This guy is a playmaker. Not like Randy or Chad, but to have a 81 OVR in madden is ridiculous. My modifications have him at an 88-89 overall. Over several weeks, he has made dazzling 1 handed catches on more than 1 occasion.
Chargers most underrated player-Antonio, Antonio, Antonio Cromartie. This guy is smokin’ opposing defences and is on route for a 10+ INT season. He easily breaks into the 95-96 OVR mark with truly admirable playmaking and speed.

December 6, 2007 at 5:50 am
I think that you havent watched any cowboys games cause no mention of them.
December 8, 2007 at 11:34 am
WTF they lowered mike mackenzies rating he intercepted 3 touchdowns and returned 2 and Marques colston been dominating show him some hes been a beast in the deep.Ea the saints need some luv too.
December 8, 2007 at 11:43 am
I have’nt typed up reports fro the NFC yet. I have 80+ players who need a change. The chore of it all is deciding what exactly needs to be changed, and typing up a report. Update 3/4 will be here by monday.
December 10, 2007 at 12:30 pm
PC????????????????????????????
December 11, 2007 at 2:15 pm
When is the update comin for the 360? and how are the cowboys changing.
December 12, 2007 at 12:43 am
This roster update is taking forever this time… I bet it is the last one they put out too. EA should have released one last week and put out the final update right before playoffs started.
December 12, 2007 at 6:58 pm
how come the ravens play a 4-3 defense they should change to q 3-4 because bart scott never gets any tackles on my superstar because hes on the bench or they should put him at outside linebacker
December 18, 2007 at 4:25 am
A lot will happen with the next update but whatever ever happens ea has to be honest and look at reggie bush and tone him down down down
December 18, 2007 at 2:59 pm
This is just getting ridiculous waiting for this update. They have given Madden owners the shaft. I am now wondering if another update is even in the works. Even if it is, this will be the last one. There should have been an update 2 weeks ago followed with one this week and finally, one right before playoffs. Instead we will be lucky to get 1 more.
December 18, 2007 at 2:59 pm
Any word on the release, Padre?
December 19, 2007 at 9:53 am
For those waiting for info on the next update, go to the EA Sports website, go to the Madden section, go to the forums (general discussion I think). In there you will find the ratings adjustments for the next update. They are attached to a post from the moderator.
I would link it but i’m at work and that particular website happens to be blocked…Hope this helps.

January 2, 2008 at 11:12 pm
Any word on a new roster update for the 360? Roster update #5 is getting a little old… with the Playoffs coming up.
January 9, 2008 at 12:59 pm
damn still no love for the Dolphins OL that is second in the league in average yards per carry, 2nd in rushing TDs, 2nd in games with a 100+ yard rusher, and has allowed 17 sacks. Ronnie Brown got hurt and Jesse chatman is averaging over 5 yards per carry, and had over 100 yards in his last game against the Bills. The only reason this bothers me so much is because it’s so damn frustrating to play with my dolphins because their OL is the worst in the game, with only 2 players over 80. I can’t run on any team without using some cheap toss plays and the line will give me about 2 secs to pass when I use the shotgun. Please EA give them the ratings they deserve.
can some one send me the update for ps3
January 9, 2008 at 12:59 pm

March 12, 2008 at 2:27 pm
Hey…just got 360. If I get Madden 08 but don’t have Xbox Live Gold, does that mean I can’t get roster updates?
November 9, 2008 at 12:54 am
THEY MUST HAVE HEARD ABOUT HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE BITCHIN ABOUT THE COWBOYS because they’re horrible now, lol….I went from 11-0 streak to a 2-8 streak with them. D-Line as a whole has been horrible they never get off any blocks and backs like Willie Parker of Pittsburgh run all day outside…Looks like I need to find another team. Thanks again Madden.
