patch doesn’t help franchise mode, FA pool still does the same thing and it still freezes.

Are the patches automatically downloaded on the 360 Version of Madden 08? Or do I have to go to Marketplace? Anything to make the game better would be a great addition. I am doing a 5 user Franchise mode with 4 other people and it’s playoffs time. I’m happy to state that I had the worst draft of all of us and was able to amass the best record in the league and a the Texans have a first round bye for the playoffs. (such realism is hard to come by in a game.) Cool forum, all you Maddenites, have fun now.

Why is EA/SONY taking so long to release the patch this has pretty much gotten ridiculous. I mean its closing in on a month sincce it was released for the 360 and i cant understand what could possibly be taking so long

hopefully before Christmas? Like I said theres no way to know for sure. It has been in Sony’s hands so its dependant on when they clear it to go out.

The roster update for both systems should be out soon after the PS3 gets its patch.

If I’m playing offline, do I have to download the patch or is it optional.

I like to play co-op franchise with friends and I’d like to try the patch (due to fumbles) but not be forced to use it should I not like the changes, i.e. to have the option to play with the patch or without.

Is that possible?

PS3 patch is still with Sony, just a matter of time, possibly could see that this week. Roster update I haven’t gotten anything concrete on when that is expected to be out.
