I enjoy Live better than 2K8. No bias here. The big problem I have with 2K8 is that the animations take over to much control of the game. It makes it hard to run a play. Take for example a simple play where the point guard is supposed to start at the top of the key and move left to a SF who is setting a pick for him. When you try and go left your PG gets sucked into an animation where he sticks to a defender and it pulls you in front of your SF before you even get to his pick. You then have to go back to the top of the key and try to start your play again.

NHL ‘08 is the best one IMO. I didn’t even buy 2K8 hockey, that’s how much I like it.

FIFA ‘08, NBA 2K8, NBA Live 08, NCAA Football 08 are really good too.

Madden ‘08 has it’s moments.

My favorite game by far has been NCAA 08, I’d give this game a 9.0 once utilize the ratings on the 360 version to stop the INT’s and Fumbles that EA goofed up on.

NHL 08 is a blast and eventually I’ll get deeper into that game.

Both Pro Basketball titles this year have provided me with some longevity, that wasn’t the case last year. I’ve had to edit players in both games to get it right for me but after that I’ve been playing 1-2 franchise games a week in both titles. I can see myself playing each game up until the summer of 08.

2k8 may be better but it gets too much credit. There was NO post game whatsoever in that game and a guy like Josh Smith is unstoppable due to his great dunking rating.
