I completely agree with you. It's really weird how EA has stripped every piece of presentation out of their college game, and they are always giving us these BS excuses on how they need more time to implement things like alternate jerseys.

How come I bought College Hoops 2k8 and it has 300+ colleges with all their alternate jerseys, all stadiums, a freakings weekly wrap up with highlights of other games, tons of great college atmosphere, classic teams, and more?

I guess I'd be ok with EA stripping their title's if no other company could figure out ho wto develop those issues on the 360, but when I see a game like CH2K8, all it does is make me mad...becaus that is how NCAA SHOULD BE!!!

Thanks for the patch though- 6 months after the game was released..and only 6 months to go until the new game comes out...
A good example is APF2K8. While it has it's share of issues, in their FIRST NEXT GEN FOOTBALL RELEASE, they are able to do things that in 3 years (going on 4) we are still waiting for in Madden.

Refs on field [X]
Normal looking players on the sideline who actually create the feel of a living sideline [X]
Actual PRESENTATION [X]
Chain Gang - Sideline Markers [X]
Ability to customize a jersey so we do not have to rely on the developer to tell us wait until next year [X]

All things (outside the presentation) that you can find in older gen Madden/NCAA.

If only I wasn't such a whore for the licenses (and I am one 110%)

Okay now for a little pat on the back, although my hand has been waiting to do this for a few months.

Some time in practice mode after the patch.

You can definitely see a difference. While the DB AI is not completely fixed, most of the time they turn, at the same time or just after the WR does on a man to man. There is still a premium of timing on the comeback routes and leading or throwing behind, etc.. the receiver with the direction of the pass.

Also the touch pass is finally back. A quick tap while pressing up will give you a very nice lob pass. It also feels like the menus are a bit smoother, but that could be me spending more time in the online mode lately.
