MLB 2K8 release date

As previously suggested would happen, MLB 2K8 has an initial release date of Tuesday March 4th. This is the same day that MLB 08 The Show is scheduled to release.
However don’t be surprised to see the game bumped up a week as the release date approaches. This is a tactic that has been used by 2K (as well as EA) in the past in order to get a jump on the competition. Where the companies are not allowed to do this with the NBA license they are free to do so with MLB.

Seeing as how baseball games are my favorite sports games I think that I will have to buy both games. I like to do the road to the show in The Show and franchise in MLB2K. Plus the graphics in 2k just kick the Show’s a$$.

I cannot wait for this. I hope what they say is true and when you play it you feel the difference from 2k7. I also seen them mention 60fps for ps3 but nothing on 360, that it scaring me.

Hey Kmart2180, both xbox 360 and ps3 will run at 60fps. They just reached it first on PS3. It was mentioned they have 1 developer making sure ps3 version is on par with 360’s version.
