The pressure’s on 2K to deliver. Everyone’s been cryin’ out to 2K to make a true boxing sim. Prizefighter will make or break 2K Sports. If Prizefighter turns out to be the sim that everyone is hoping for, I believe that 2K Sports will overtake EA for good. Gamers have already expressed that 2K Sports makes the better games. But for this generation of consoles, EA Sports’ crowning glory was the highly touted facial-ripple replay of FNR3, which forever will be embedded in our heads. If Prizefighter tops FNR3′s flash with great gameplay and content, it will be a huge statement for 2K Sports.

Finally we might be getting a more realistic boxing game then those stupid fight night games.. i just hope more attention is focused on gameplay and less on graphics cause thats all Fight night games did were just give you good graphics.. dont get me wrong i enjoy nice graphics but gameplay is the number one thing they should put to concern when making this game if they want it to be a sim game not an arcade game.. im tired of playing those stupid fight night games so please 2k give us a good sim boxing game

The one-punch knockdown/knockout is an element that’s sorely been missing in the Fight Night franchise. The “stun punches” in FNR3 are way too mechanical and forced. At least on paper, Prizefighter is shaping up to be a real boxing-sim.
