Didn’t the falcons lose points in the last update, after the end of the regular season? And if so, what are these new decreases based on?
January 30, 2008 at 3:40 pm
Wow, the Pack got a huge ratings boost! Finally some love for Atari Bigby; the kid is going to hurt someone with those huge hits.
January 30, 2008 at 3:51 pm
dockery rated better than corey webster ? disd these ea mod’s see the playoffs webster held strong against gallaway, owens and driver….omg he should now be at least a 82
January 30, 2008 at 4:00 pm
So EA decides last update to change a few players ratings up and down, now after many hours of meeting they go back through the players they forgot and you have update #7
January 30, 2008 at 4:25 pm
these updates suck
January 30, 2008 at 4:34 pm
Nice job EA, more love for the Vikings!
January 30, 2008 at 4:35 pm
Sorry, EA, but most of the update is pointless.
Alex Smith goes from 81 to 80? Um, great.
This is Super Bowl week. How about releasing the University of Phoenix Stadium decked out with the Super Bowl XLII logo plastered everywhere, Patriots and Giants end zones, and a few other surprises?
The point system is archaic. It should be phased out.
Happy Super Bowl Week!
January 30, 2008 at 4:49 pm
how is mathias kiwanuka getting his ratings highered? hes on IR
January 30, 2008 at 4:51 pm
how are the packers getting rated so high? they LOST and the corners played terribly…
January 30, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Not a lot of love for titans……Lendale Gets 1200 rushing and 8 tds but only an 82…….not even a power or a stiff arm back……and Cowboys are WAY too overrated…..
January 30, 2008 at 5:57 pm
manny lawson has been on IR the whole season and goes up?

Woodson played very well. Harris played well all season. He was left alone on a island with Burress and couldn’t get it done.
January 31, 2008 at 11:45 am
Nice job EA, more love for the Vikings!
Even as a Vikings fan, how can you agree with Pat Williams getting upgraded? He is a slob that plays about 60% of the defensive snaps. By the end of the third quater he is to tired to even be a factor anymore. The only way I agree with this update would be if they lowed his stamina to about a 45.
January 31, 2008 at 11:46 am
too not to
January 31, 2008 at 11:47 am
Wow no love for Bethea the SS for the colts hes had a great season hes even in the probowl!!
Wow, the Pack got a huge ratings boost! Finally some love for Atari Bigby; the kid is going to hurt someone with those huge hits.
Bigby makes 5 hits all year and he gets a near 10 point boost to an 86? LaRon Landry is not only a harder hitter than Bigby but had 2 Ints in his one playof game. He is only an 85.
January 31, 2008 at 4:06 pm
So with this update are all the injured players off I.R. or will there be another update to wait for?
January 31, 2008 at 5:21 pm
i agree, madden is biased to teams that have been good in the past few years. like favre’s ratings. 98 throw power. and 94 accuracy. I agree he had a good season but wtf. and cromartie is only an 89. quentin jammer is a 90 and he had one pick.

February 1, 2008 at 1:37 am
omg
favre is a brutal int machine his ratings go up???????????????????????????
online u take over db get the pick but you drop it?
lol
u should miss it and still get the pick when favres the qb
lol
and burress cant get off the line vs the packers db’s
and when he does he drops the pass right after he catches it anyway from the hit
wow fantasy football ratings

One more year of the NFL exclusivity contract. One more year.
February 1, 2008 at 8:31 pm
The only players and teams that should have had any changes since the last rating is the ones in the playoffs!
February 1, 2008 at 10:02 pm
hahahahah SMACKDADY PS3 I AM A RAIDERS FAN BUT YOU CANNOT SAY THE PACKS DB’S OWNED BURRESS HE HAD 132 YDS RECEIVING!! HHAHAHAH GET YOUR S*** STRAIGHT BRO
February 2, 2008 at 2:05 pm
why is sean taylor still in the game?
February 3, 2008 at 5:14 pm
greg jones is also an 89 now
February 3, 2008 at 8:35 pm
People are cheating me out of wins with the pause glitch. And as for Kiwanuka and Lawson, they are young first round picks, and just like how the stats of young guys with high potential go up in the game, so do these players despite being on the IR.
February 3, 2008 at 10:12 pm
Pats players ratings should go down because they list the super bowl
February 3, 2008 at 10:13 pm
sorry i meant lost the super bowl
February 4, 2008 at 9:00 am
Eli Manning should get at least a 90 rating now. I can’t wait to get this last update with the players off IR
February 4, 2008 at 9:35 am
I do agree with the fact that EA is biased towards the teams that have been good for the past couple of years, and I swear that EA must hate the Browns, you guys finally updated a few of their players but, you didnt upgrade as a whole, the one biggest improvement that was made to the team, THE OFFENSIVE LINE. The O-Line was the biggest improvement for the Browns, and really made a big difference in teams success.
February 4, 2008 at 9:59 am
why is sean taylor still in the game?
Because he died and some people like to be respectful.
February 4, 2008 at 12:52 pm
with the giants winning the super bowl..beating the buccs, cowboys, packers and pats…even with only 1 pro bowler..how do you think their stats will be changed by the final update
February 4, 2008 at 1:28 pm
Pats players ratings should go down because they list the super bowl
i know this was the biggest game to lose for the pats but just because they lost one time doesnt mean there horrible now

Um you forgot Justin Tuck went from 82 to 88 during this update. But by the way he played during the superbowl, he might go to 90s and get an icon. I suggest Power Move.
