With my tax return money, I am going to purchase a PS3 so I can play The Show….Not to say 2K won’t be good, Sony’s franchise appears to headed in the right direction.

And, at worst, I will at least have a choice. I will buy 2K for the 360 and The Show….

kinda ironic that most of the people in this posting gallery here that blames 2k of “false advertising” are the first ones to go out and buy live 08 and back up madden 09…the biasness is brewing like stew as well as hyppcrites.

Yeah 2K has done some false advertising.Like on the MLB 2k7 Xbox live demo they had great commentary related specifically to players stats in the playoffs and how the series had been going up to the game you were playing.
An Example they would make reference to the Endy Chavez catch the inning prior they never would talk about a game saving play in the real game. In the real game they never talked about stuff that happened in the prior innings except for maybe “he already has 1 HR so far”

Last year at this time there were 2k7 gameplay videos on IGN that featured the bat sounds from 2k6. I fully expect the new sounds from the trailer to be in the game. We are talking about replacing one audio file with another. They could wait till the middle of Feb to change this.

If 2k can get those bat sounds in the trailer why can’t they get them into the actual game… That will be very disappointing if those sounds are not in the actual game. There is no excuse, if it can get into a trailer, it can go into the actual gameplay, or at least make a patch for it like they made a patch for a new camera angle in 2K7…

remember when ea had that screen from live 08 that was photo-shopped to have a guy cut in half and the names on the jerseys higher res? Everybody does it so we have to wait for the game to come out.

I would wait for the final build. That trailer is far better looking/animated than the IGN videos and YouTube demo video. I have feeling that the IGN preview version/Demo were extremely early builds of the game.

Wait for the actual gameplay video to be released from review copies before passing judgement on this one.
