Below is just a sample of 36 brand new screenshots from MLB 2K8. Click the thumbnails to view the images full size. All 36 screens can be found in the gallery. These screens appear to be immensely more impressive than the ones that have been released previously (see the Jeter screen as an example).

Included in this batch are the first showcasing minor league teams and players which are mixed in with a wide variety of MLB stars.

you’re absolutely right Pasta, those look MUCH better than the first batch or so that came out. Do you have a demo disk Pasta or were you just sent those? I’d love to see some gameplay vids from you.. you always seem to have the best gameplay clips.

The Show does have impressive pics but the latest 2K offerings look improved over the previously released pics.

I sure hope that 2K fixed the Tigers’ home whites. Last year, the numbers had a mysterious white outline that looked brutal….

I think 2K8 will be a fun game to play, and the graphics are still better than the show…. with all the hype the show is getting, it can only disappoint…. I played both games last year, had fun with the show, but ultimately sold my ps3 because 2K’s graphics are so much better and more realistic…. I’m really looking forward to MLB 2K8 this year.

WOW…you sold your PS3 because 2K’s graphics are supposedly better than the show? That’s pathetic. Graphics don’t make the game. The Show kills 2K in pretty much every aspect. The gameplay is the most realistic of any baseball game I’ve ever played. It’s not a homer and highlight reel catch fest like 2K. I have a feeling 2K will probably disappoint many people. One more thing, there is nothing realistic about 2K’s graphics when it comes to the jerseys. It looks like a hurricane is blowing through every game you play.
