To me it seems like this new engine has set them back big time. But when I pop in the ps2 version the game is amazingly fun. And not broken. Will they get rid of that annoying radio announcer? Will there be referees on field? Chain gang? Better Sidelines? Better throwing, running animations? Very robotic looking... It just seems to me, that with the NFL extending the exclusive license, that EA will be able to get even lazier with their product...which doesn't fair well for all of us who had severe problems with 08 this year. But I would really would like to have seen what 2k could have done next gen with the NFl game. They seem to capture player authenticity pretty well.
