MLB 08: The Show demo coming tomorrow

The demo for MLB 08: The Show will hit PSN this Thursday February 14th and will be available for both the PS3 and PSP. Featured will be a rematch of the World Series with Colorado @ Boston for three innings.
Check back Thursday evening when I’ll post some impressions and gameplay videos from the demo.

Sounds good i like the timing of the demo hope it has more things to do than last years demo. What about on the 360?

MLB 2K8? I wouldn’t be surprised if the demo for 2K8 isn’t out until the week the game releases or even after. There really hasn’t been any indication as of late to make anyone think otherwise. Potentially it could be out next week or the following week but just a hunch on my part that it won’t be.

Pasta you really slam 2k8 any chance you get don’t you?
Take a look at the new video that just surfaced. Looks 100times better than anything we’ve seen. The stretching of the players is most likely due to the compression of the video to place on youtube.

p.s. Where would you ever get the impression that the 2k8 demo won’t drop until after the game is released?? The 2k7 demo was out waaay before the game came out.

It does look substantially better. I’ll have to try both demos, though I imagine I’ll still end up sticking with The Show.

Bumble dont make statements that are not true… the mlb 2k7 demo did not come out until the day before the game hit stores….

My mistake- I got it confused with the NBA2K7/2K8 demos. The MLB one did come out a day before the game.

I cant wait to see this game. Im going have to buy a PS3 for it. 2k8 looks just like 2k7 with only a new throwing feature.

Watching that it like seeing a real live game and then watching a 2k8 gameplay video is just like what are they thinking, its not even close.

Can you tell me where exactly Pasta slams anything in his comment? He merely commented on the status of a demo. Seems to me the bigger fanboys around here are the 2K ones more than anything else. You guys sure do get defensive.
