Earlier today I posted a series of MLB 08: The Show screens showing off a player-umpire argument. Now SCEA has unleashed even more. The media push is really on with release day now under two weeks away and the demo out and well received. These screens feature the Dodgers @ Astros, Tigers @ Royals, Rangers @ Orioles, and Dodgers @ Cubs.
My personal favorites in this bunch show off the Royals wearing their powder blue alternate uniforms. I’ve added a couple of the new ones below (click the thumbnails to view full size) and head to the screenshot gallery to view them all.

Do they have any community day like events for this game? If they do, any chance you’ll be going to one?

Not that I’m aware of. I believe they invite media to visit the studio but thats not quite the same thing.

Look to be a very early build of the game IMO

Very cool images. It’s nice to see the screens of stadiums and teams that aren’t typically shown off throughout the early PR periods. I’m excited to play some games in the different venues, especially some of the newer stadiums. Do you know if the newer stadiums will be in the game this year?

UN BELIEVABLE!
this games graphics apart from MAYBE the player model being a BIT squashed(COMPLELTY fixable next year and this year within the games calibration settings
)look brilliant
Next year we’ll have day to night cycles and rain and clouds!

Man…The graphics look amazing. you have to look twice to see they aren’t real… Looking forward to the expanded pitching game ( 18 pitches you can throw)….That will be really fun against other people online… They added hand signals to that
you can give to your base coaches….very cool

I noticed in the demo for The Show the base coaches are not wearing helmets. Is this just the case of the demo being an early build? If this is the case, hopefully other things have been fixed; ie batting stances…… helton looks too much like griffey’s stance in the show. Tulowitski is a little off…..

Noticed in The Show demo that on foul balls into the stands, a group of fans will stand up and try to make a play on the ball… Pretty cool. I really appreciate little things like that.
