		<description>The whole trading card system in this game seems like an afterthought.  It reminds me of the old madden days.  My favorite maddens were the last few they put out for the original xbox.  It seemed like they had done all they could really do with gameplay and graphics at that point and then they started throwing in the card aspects just so that there would be an additional feature each year.  

However, for MLB 2K there still seems like there is some work to be done in the graphic and gameplay area.  Granted, the pitching feature &quot;looks&quot; cool.  But otherwise, with the exception of this card feature, it appears as though we are going to be getting pretty much the same game from last year with a few less quirks.  I was looking forward to more...

I&#039;ll just have to be patient and reserve final judgments &#039;till launch day and the reviews start coming in...</description>

I&#039;m guessing you can only earn them against the CPU because of that. Especially since they&#039;re based on difficuly level played on.</description>
