The third roster update for NBA Live 08 has been released and covers the post-Shaq trade transactions and through the deadline. The main teams affected by the moves were the Cavs, Mavericks, Nets, Bulls, and Sonics. Continue on to view the full list.

I already manually did those trades. I just wanted the EA created versions of missing players. The create a player in the game sucks.

and they added carl landry to the rockets lol but still no jamario moon..but why dont they ever change the ratings like madden does?

yeah thats disappointing. For some reason both 2K and EA aren’t adding players in. I don’t get the lack of ratings changes though.

I am glad that EA finally upated the rosters for NBA Live 08, I really enjoyed playing with the cavs last night. The only thing that I didnt care for was the fact that they didnt have the player ratings right, both Szerbiak and West are 3 point shooters, and they have absolutely no 3 pt hot spots.

The game finally have my favorite team full roster (HOU).
But HOU L.Scola still have the left hand problem.
My rosters would almost be complete if you could add
TOR J.Moon and ATL M.West.
When can we expect the next roster update?

I really wish there was more effort put into the updates. Obviously I am biased (Wiz fan) but I am sure the same applies for many teams. They’ve got Deshawn Stevenson at a 70? I know he is no all star but dude consistently, lately, has put the Wiz on his back (with Gil and Caron out). Dropped 30+ in multiple games and has become on of the leagues premier 3 point shooters. A 70? Come on man. Meanwhile Caron Butler became an all star, averages over 20+ a game, 7 boards and 4 assists and is a 77? With Kobe and Gil and Lebron being 90+ I would think a guy averaging high stats in multiple categories like that would deserve at least an 80. Just seems like there is a huge discrepancy between the BIG time names in the game (of which there are probably 15 players) and everyone else. Come on EA, sit down, take some time, and really assess the players. Also, make the game harder. I am playing 12 min qtrs on the highest speed, all star level and still raping the CPU by 40+

How do I download this update for the Xbox 360 version? I’m connected to Xbox Live, so I would assume the update would be automatic… but my Houston Rockets roster still has Bonzi Wells, and no Louis Scola.

Is this gonna be the last roster update for Live? Its been atleast 1 and a hlf months sine that update and the playoffs already started man, Live is slackin hard!!

iT us now June 5th exactlty 2 months after this last update.. Y is LIVE takin forever to update their roster? Madden clearly has crushed LIVE as far as roster updates go!!
