EA was touting the “branching animations” last year for Madden but I feel that’s what destroys the gameplay. Since some of the animations branch together so poorly, we often get that ragdoll effect when tackling.

I don’t know if EA will ever get the collisions and tackling as smooth as it was in NFL2K5.

The pace of the game seems faster and the player models look ok. I saw the sec logo in the middle of the field in what appeared to be the sec championship game. happy to see that back in the game as well as the sweatbands around the ankles.
