Okay now all 3 of these picks are wrong.. The Jets are takin Darren McFadden because they need a big play runner, the Patriots are gonna take Vernon Gholston to be their edge rusher replacing Rosevelt Colvin and the Ravens have 2 good Recievers in Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams so they dnt need Desean Jackson.. I got them takin Leodis McKelvin!!

I mean, yeah, if he’s there, and the Jets don’t trade down (and McFadden is off the board), then he’s the pick.

The draft is a crap shoot. Who knew the Texans were going to draft Mario Williams 1st Overall? We all thought it was Bush.

an NFL.com writer has released his Mock Draft, and this is who he has going #1:

1. Miami Dolphins
Vernon Gholston
DE, Ohio State Gholston is gathering momentum and is one of the players who has great skill, strength and potential to develop. I think Chris Long is still a strong candidate for this spot but Gholston is a rare athlete and his 30.5 tackles for loss and 22.5 sacks in the last two years may be the tip of the iceberg.

You never know.

If McFadden is there, he’s the guy, IMO. However, Gholston could fit as a DE in our 3-4 scheme, and it’s certainly not inconceivable that they take him for that reason. We could use another corner and another LB, but #6 is too high to take Rogers-Cromartie, McKelvin, or Rivers. A wideout would be nice as well, but again, who do you take at 6? Kelly, Jackson and Sweed are all mid-first type picks.

I’d bank on the Jets trading down and taking the best available WR, and then a corner at 36.
