Nothing but crap? Madden 08 was crap? EA has not had crap games in the area they focus on, the NFL. Madden 08 was a quality game and I’ll bet that better than 75% of the people who bought the game would agree. Also it sounds like you are making excuses for 2K and being a 2K homer. “2K released a game that was buggy”….ARE YOU KIDDING??? 2K released this game with the knowledge that is was UNPLAYABLE for real baseball fans. Now that the patch is out it is much better, quite fun actaully in my mind. However, that does not excuse 2K for lying to us about the patch release date, and still lying to us about the roster updates, opening day my ass. I think you need to post a comment that shows you have real balls.

EA made solid strides last year on the 360 with NHL 08, FIFA 08 and Madden 08. Madden was the first version I had liked on the 360. That is pretty much the global opinion, too.

Even NBA Live 08 was a much better game than the year before. 2k’s game was better though. NHL 08 was a new standard in hockey after putting out a crap AI with the new controls in 07. 2K dropped the ball with their new control scheme in NHL 2k8. Not intuitive at all.

Of course we already know the crap MLB 2k8 is compared to The Show 08, with its laggy framerate on a game that demands smoothness due to its new controls. Yes, the patch helped but you dont know smooth and sim until you have played The Show 08. 2k8 is a pure arcade game with no sim whatsoever. The Show is sim, baby.

EA dropped the ball with Tiger Woods 08 with little improvement after a solid 07. But basically, the 08 games were the first REAL successes for them on the 360.

Let’s face it, EA has done a much better game with their exclusive license than 2k has.

2k released a game that was buggy. Threads are being deleted becuase people are acting like retards and are not following the rules the 2k guy has laid out. There is a thread for people to post on the problems. He doesnt need 984 posts of the same thread. Its hard to filter through other posts.

Muggins is right. Pasta is known all over the internet as being a big EA homer, thats nothing new. He needs to write an article and show he really has balls and tell EA to make a football game thats worth a damn. I dont care for EA, but they did make a good game in Fifa 08. No, that is the point and the subject of this thread. You want to bring some other BS in here that doesnt belong, take a hike. 2k dropped the ball period. I am sure they had their reasons for it with all that is happening in the 2k world. But that doesnt excuse their lack of PR and the broken product they put out. So, let’s call a spade a spade. That is what Pasta did in this case. I dont care about what happened before this. 2k is the subject.

Let’s stay focused people.

You need to go back and re-read everything. That isn’t the point. The point is, PastaPadre only calls out 2k when they do badly. EASports had a clusterfu*k with the NCAA08 release, and they didn’t get called out.

These are black and white issues people. If you are a 2k fanboy because you dont have a PS3 and cant play The Show, that is a lousy place to be. But, dont blame Pasta or anyone else that is enlightened because they have played both games and have both the 360 and PS3.
