Pasta, any idea what this is about? I mean obviously we know what it is, but do you have any other information? (maybe like when we could expect it)

If I had to take a guess, it sounds like something that they may give away with reservation of Madden 09 at certain stores…

Ill tell Mr. Moore to shove this crap where the sun dosnt shine.

Ill tell Mr. Moore to not make this years edition about the anniversary hoop-la and make it about the Madden game alone.

Ill tell Mr. Moore to foucus on innovative game play and improving a game that is becoming more and more predictable every year.

So, basically, this is an underhanded attempt to get us to pay for the demo now. Dont take the bait!

There are plenty of DVDs by the NFL that are done very well. Spend your money there if you want a DVD of NFL highlights.

The Madden demo should be free and developer time should be devoted towards gameplay and not something that is already available.

For question 1, I’d like to get a DVD with a playable demo of Madden ‘09, but it would depend how close it is to the Madden 09 release date. So, I’d answer that better if I knew how close to release they planned on selling this DVD.

For question 5, if this is a store that you’d go to buy Madden (walmart, gamestop..) then yes, I’d get it when I got Madden. But I’m not making a special trip to Footlocker or Dick’s Sporting Goods to get a free Donruss card with a purchase.

Yeah I had actually asked for some clarification but these are essentially just base level questions. They wanted to gauge general interest and I suppose proceed from there. It is a good thing that they’d at least look for that from the community. Its unlike what they would’ve done a few years ago when they had that PPV. A simple survey probably would’ve shown no one was going to pay for that.
