Well, I woulda probably pirated it, so I can see where they’re coming from.

Sadly, I DID buy last year’s PC release (and I think I bought 07 too, can’t remember, maybe I got it for the PS2), and was looking forward to 09.

I DLed 2k9 last week and it sucked for franchise mode. Basketball games have always had one of the weekest franchise modes, and NBA 2k9 is an utter failure at it in this day and age

I’m to blame them for making that decision.

With things out for the PC like Xbox360 PC controllers and the like the link between computer and console is shrinking.

More gamers than ever would be playing these games on controllers if these games came out, and thus buying them.

Yes of course there’s piracy on the computer. People also get modded XBoxes and the like and burn games.

Plus there’s CDKeys, protection software, and regardless of how successfull piraters are people who want to play it, most of them will buy it.

well….with consoles you’ll have to buy a new one every year for sure….so this decision is totally profit based….in pc you can at least update the roster indefinitely until there’s really a new game worth playing….updates for consoles can now be limited to one year to two forcing people to buy new version of the series….huhu…guess i won’t be able to create custom teams anymore in sports game…
