DeSean Jackson inadvertently revealed as PS2 NCAA Football 09 cover athlete

While the news of the PS2 cover athlete for NCAA Football 09 wasn’t expected to come for a few more weeks, Gamefly has accidentally let the secret slip that WR DeSean Jackson from California has gotten the cover. He now joins Matt Ryan (PS3), Darren McFadden (360), and Sparty (Wii) as the console specific covers. The PSP is expected to be shown off in May.
In an interesting coincidence I actually got to play DeSean Jackson in a game of NCAA 09 at the event this evening. Look for some details on that in an upcoming writeup.

anyone know if ncaa and madden 09 will be coming out for XBOX? I still play on the original xbox, I think its the best.

Yeah… ps2… and 360 sure…ps3…yeah BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WII!!!!!!! Every one has been so excited about it including me and EA has released nothing about it. Do you know when there will be any last gen or wii videos/screens.

I’d rather it be the other way around. Jackso to be the PS3 cover and Ryan the PS2 cover since I have a PS3 an will have to see his overrated face(Ryan) everytime I turn on the game.

well the final cover for the Wii version was revealed last night but thats it. Its a different team that works on that game than the guys that were out here. I’m not sure when we’ll hear some on that but I’ll try and find out over the coming weeks.

Hey! Look at it this way ya’ll. At least we can’t be feeling sorry about this surprising news we just heared. But we should be very happy about this season’s game and let the facts played out all by itself.
