More NCAA Football 09 alternate uniforms

EA Sports is continuing to release screenshots on the official NCAA Football 09 website of the alternate uniforms that will be present in the game. Below are some of the latest ones which include UTEP, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Utah. Look for Friday’s release to be Clemson. All of the screens released thus far can be found in the gallery.

I’m still waiting for the Georgia black uniforms since they are the top ranked team they better be in the game.

Oregon’s other alternate (yellow tops) better have yellow bottoms. I don’t really like when they mix and match with the yellows.

are you going to be able to release your list of all the alternates and team ratings you noted? or will we have to wait until EA releases them all?

I hope Arizona has at least 1 red jersey, & the all navy, plus both away uni’s with white and navy pants.

So its my understanding that info is going to be released at a later time by different media sites. I’m going to hang on to it in case they don’t list out as much as I have so I can add to it.

Can’t really say. Would probably depend on how you prefer the gameplay (more wide-open in NCAA) and if online dynasty is a big thing for you. Thing is there is still more to be learned about Madden so it wouldn’t be fair to compare the two right now. Ultimately whichever you prefer (NCAA vs NFL) is probably the way to go if just choosing one.

i’m hoping for these as well. i’d like to see these return to both NCAA and Madden. Players like Larry Johnson (Chiefs) just don’t look right without that (for lack of a better word) pacifier-style mouthpiece.

Any word Pasta or anyone else on team specific entrances??Like Michigan Running out touching the banner..or Tennessee spliting the T?? Any info at all?? Thanks peeps…LOVE the site..GO BUCKY!!! TOP TEN AND BCS BOUND….

Pasta, if a team selects an alternate jersey, will the crowd dress the same? I.e. if Georgia wears all black, will the fans dress accordingly (just like they did last season)?

The Wisconsin picture really demonstrates the difference in the linemen player models. But I do hope there are a few fat linemen just to be realistic.

watch the newest IGN vid “Gameplay” ,the part when Michigan State recovers a fumble, you can see the new DNA helmets. I hope they have the new revo helmets as well

I know this is off the subject, but are we getting any new or upgraded intro presentation? Like team specific introductions? They talk about making it feel more like a college game, then have Michigan run under the banner or the Miami Hurricanes come run through the smoke. If this is in this yr, then im 100% sold.

I still can not understand why EA is pimping alternate jerseys as something we should get excited for.
Hey guys- remember in NCAA 2003-Present on our last gen systems when every team had every possible jersey/pant combo available at the time??
Do you guys remember? or have we become so accustomed to subpar games with bland presentation that we’ve forgotten what we once had?

Oregons yellow top alternate better have the emerald green bottoms (the unis they wore against oregon state) those were the sweetest unis in college football… no doubt

I am a little disappointed that the team specifics are not on this year’s game, but maybe something will change in the next 2 months and EA will add those. Does anyone know if every team has an alternate uniform? This site is awesome! Pasta, if you need an understudy just let me know. Curtis Painter for Heisman!

Not every team has an alternate. I believe there is 50-60 included. Of the teams that do have them some have one and a handful have two.

EA seems to have added all of the critical uniforms. FSU’s “Unconquered” unis are awesome.
Also, for the fans of the Dawgs you can see Georgia’s black jerseys in a game played behind an interview of one of the developers. They look sweet.
I wish EA would add classic teams and uniforms. Some of my favorite classic jerseys:
1) Miami in the 80s (although I liked the green’s they wore in the 2002 season)
Pitt’s old uniforms (Marino years)
2) 80s Illinois (with navy pants)
3) Penn State (oh, they haven’t changed)
4) Notre Dame from the late 70s (greens and whites with green numbers)
5) Ohio State from the 80s (large shoulder numbers)
6) Florida’s orange (although I like the blues better)
7) SMU with white helmets
9) BYU with the royal blue

No I don’t. Sometimes I get info on what is coming out the next day or later in the week but other times I find out the same time everyone else does when it is posted up. In this case I was given the screen since they are having issues getting it on their site.

Yes.
Here is Colorado’s alternate screen (same issue as Friday since they’re transitioning to the full site launch for the game coming up)
