Does anyone else notice that is not even close to being Ohio State's stadium? I hope that EA plans to put accurate stadiums in. (Even if they are waiting to finalize the stadiums this game still looks awful.) I bought a Wii assuming EA could at least keep pace with the old PS2 versions of NCAA, but clearly I trusted the wrong people.
Why doesn't EA just pull-the-plug and rename it NCAA Blitz?

I might actually pick up a Wii and this game for the FCS play. Looks like it could be fun anyway.
Is it just me or do developers seem to think everyone who plays the Wii is under 10? The mascot on the cover is just embarrassing, a true marketing blunder. If you mention college football one of the last things that pops into my mind is "mascot". It's unbelievable some of the first footage for this game on the Wii involves mascot players. Will the next clip show marching bands at half-time?
Not necessarily but it is a different crowd. Hardcore gamers that have a Wii have it as a secondary console, and the majority of gamers who only have a Wii are looking for the more casual, accessible experience. It isn't as though hardcore sports gamers rely on the Wii to fulfill them in that area. They aren't going to put out the same type of games when the audience they're catering to is so different.

If EA took the time to add marching bands, I would be impressed. :-)

Did I see a chain gang on the sideline? why can't they put it in the xbox360 one?
Did you realize that the gang was the ONLY thing on the sideline?
seriously i would rather have the players and those press people on the sidline than just a chain gang
Why do we have to choose? The Xbox 360 and PS3 have enough horsepower to do both. The new player models are great, but they could have put the refs and chain gang in as well.

EA is just getting lazy.
Nothing against Mascot games or catoring to the casual fan but why doesn't EA just make a completely separate game for all this arcade stuff? I mean if you look at both Madden and NCAA, it seems that they're both getting more and more arcady by the year(especially Madden). You have games like NFL Tour for stuff like that. Madden & NCAA are supposed to be sim not arcade. Why can't EA separate the two? Yes they may add a few more sales to the casual fan but if they continue with all this arcade kiddy stuff they're going to alienate their hardcore true football fans who helped make EA Sports what it is today. I just think there's a lot more work they could've put into gameplay and presentation instead of focusing on all this kiddy stuff.
the game isnt getting more arcadish... they've got about 3 mini games and mascot games... thats all... but i do see your point

Nice. No where else actually covers sports games on the Wii. Hope you can get early copies of them too for impressions and do some realistic videos.
