WOW…. this is going to suck, the NY Jets are a 76 rating, are you F*cking joking me?!?!?! This is going to suck now for Brett Favre in the online/franchise series. Who the hell wants to play with Brett Favre now when hes on the Jets, I really wanted Favre to be on the Bucs, Theyre OVR 91!!!!!!!!!!!! now theres no point to be playing as Favre when you have a bunch of crappy players as wrs,rbs,ol, etc. on your team. I wish Favre good luck hes never going to have teammates like driver, jennings, grant, hawk, woodson. You cant replace em’. Im so pissed cus im a huge brett favre fan. No offense to NY fans but SCREW THE JETS, you have the g-men to root for. Favre now has to adapt to an entirely new offensive system (dont even know what the jets O is but its not west-coast), when the bucs had the same west-coast O. And to you online players who arent jet fans, if you play as the Jets, YOU ARE F*CKING FAIRWEATHER FANS, and id pitty you. The first thing im doing is starting my new franchise, starting as GB and getting Brett Favre back SCREW ROGERS. Who here agrees?

Also i am a chargers fan, born and raised ,and i noticed all you people asking why the chargers OVR is so high. Let me tell you something they have elite backs and recievers, one of the best defenses in the whole league, and they went to the AFC champ game two yrs straight and you people are objecting to the decision of EA to make them a 95 OVR TEAM?!?!?!? open your eyes!!!! they deserve to be a 95 OVR team. Theyre basically just as good as the Colts. One of the roster updates in 08 made both of those teams equally matched. They’ve been like that way since 08, theyre going to be like that way now, quit whining and get used to it.

Vikes have a awesome team this year with so much talent. And I think T-Jack will do better this season with Berrian and getting rid of Troy Williamson. If the Vikes had a very good pass offence they could give teams like the Colts and Pats a hell of a hard time. GO VIKES 90 Overall

And I also think now EA has F*cked up BIG TIME! they made a huge mistake putting Favre on the cover, cus now Favre’s back and that puts himself in jeopardy with the whole madden curse and all. If Favre gets injured(WHICH I HIGHLY DOUBT IT), We should bomb Tiburon, FL for basically trying to crip Favre when hes making a turnaround in his career How bout this for being F*cked up: Favres on the cover in a Green Bay jersey and now hes in a NY Jets jersey. Thanks Mike Tennebaum for being an a-hole, you just screwed up the whole madden cover for all of us. Im sure looking forward to play a game with favre on the cover and finding out he plays on the Jets, thats really what I was hoping 4.

OK i saw a comment that said if driver and jennings where 95 96 would be stupid…ok tell me hat they should be they are both impact players at th wr position……..ok now i saw another with no one wanting to play favre now he is a jet ok have you even seen their ratings….yea the overall bad but check indiv stats….they have 2 good wideouts along with a great pass protecting o line….favre is gonna be fine and the d will be able o hold its own

Ok Josh, dont correct me, i typed that comment before ESPN even announced like 4 hours earlier. Just because they announced it, after i typed a comment that wasnt going to be correct afterwards, doesnt mean i have to use my time to go on this website blog and correct myself so douchebags like you wouldnt have to correct me in the future. Ok i made a mistake, but you cant predict things like a trade to the jets was going to happen. And your other comment i would agree with the most part but the jets dont have a secondary and hav only one good player like rhodes thats it, and you need DEs too, obviously they dont have that. Can Gholston maybe improve the d-line? maybe, but thats not guaranteed, one player cant make a defense unstoppable, that goes for their offense, you said theyre good individualy, like i said before one player cant make a difference. Everybody has to be good in order to get wins, to work as a team, I honestly think they dont have that. No QB has ever made the SB with a diff team. Brett has the potential to do that, I dont think the team itself cant do that only for now. Maybe Wildcard, but not Super Bowl.

I find it hilarious that Aaron Rodgers is getting some much sh*t from the GB fans. One guy said F-you to him and little kids were even swearing at him. Obviously this was the dumbest deal the Packers has ever made, for a fourth round pick!? come on Favres worth at least a 1st round pick. I understand the whole if he does this, GB gets 3rd, then 2nd, or if SB then 1st. But GB should get a guarantee 1st round pick for trading Favre. It was a miracle for the Jets to pick up Favre they should be glad enough to even have him on their team. For GB fans, this is going to be the worst madden game ever, which is even funnier cus this was supposed to be the best game ever developed with more features than any other previous gens lol. Why is Darren Sproles a 79!?! ? He had 2 punt return TDs vs the Colts he swift and elusive like LT. This rating system that EA has is a joke I think they should give out surveys or polls to ask the madden fans what we think the players’ ratings should be. EA is too busy making their next gen games while were actually watching the football games, so obviously we happen to know more about the players who have been playing through the seasons then they do. Then the ratings would actually be fair.
And are they high or something cus Adrian Peterson is not in their top 50 players, uhh hello?!? Rookie of the year, most rushing yards in a game? And i hate Adrain Peterson but i know he deserves to be in the top 50

Your comments show two things 1) You’re ignorant about the Vikings and 2) You buy into the ESPN hype way too much.
First of all, they have a great offensive line with Birk, McKinnie and Hutchinson…all three are perennial pro bowlers. Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian are also up and coming recievers.
On the defensive side, they have Kevin and Pat Williams (both Pro Bowlers) and they picked up Jared Allen in the offseason who is the best DE in the game. They also field a very good linebacking corps and a solid defensive backfield that hosts Antoine Winfield who is one of the top 3 tackling corners in the game.
And you’re wrong, they were .500 last year.
Still want to say they have no other good players?
