NCAA Football 09 top 25 toughest places to play

Something I neglected to add into my impressions from the community event was the list of the toughest places to play in NCAA Football 09. It was hard to judge how much difference there is from playing at a difficult venue compared to a mild one. QB composure seemed to be the most significant aspect of realizing the effects regardless of where you were playing, and it may be that the more intimidating the environment the more rattled opposing QBs can get. Here are the top 25 toughest places to play in the game.

It’s really starting to sink in after seeing that list. The glory days of the Orange Bowl are officially behind us. It will be interesting to see how the Hurricanes adapt to their new home, Dolphin Stadium.

To me NCAA gets less appealing everyday after seeing Madden, but it comes out a month early so hooray I get a time killer until August 12.

NCAA this year, like evry year, is going to stomp Madden. Madden looks good… but then again… Madden looks good every year when we see improvements in videos and preview looks by webcasters. MAdden is still Madden and sucks in replayability compared to the NCAA game.

Madden doesn’t suck in replayability we still play Madden 08 and have a great time doing it.

Has anyone ever seen this list change year to year in a dynasty? The list is bogus…. The tough place to play has to do with the game being played at the time in any stadium. Two years ago when Louisville played Rutgers and the white towels and all..

Games that have something on the line like a bowl bid or undeafeated season should be when the toughest places to play..

Generic places like Notre Dame stadium are a joke. I am a big ND fan but I have sat through a blow out Stanford win and a So So BC game 07 that wasn’t fun until the lights came on and Notre Dame teased us with a comeback. I watch Notre Dame because they seem to have the best stories week to week or the most hype. Even at 3-9 they stay relevant. I am a band wagon poser so what. I at least get to watch good compelling games. Like the loss to USC 06 or Loss to Navy 07. Youtube them great excitement.. but not a tough place to play.. Those days are over.. Now the stands are full of out of town old fans like myself that have no real rooting interest to get real loud beyond admiring something from the past that the lone student section makes up for…

Syracuse is a top 20 team all time so I don’t get why not? I mean the dome is louder then any other stadium when the team is good. Its just recently we have been bad. But in terms of hard places to play the dome is definitely up there if you want to go by history what should be the important thing here.

Syracuse is a top 20 team all time so I don’t get why not? I mean the dome is louder then any other stadium when the team is good. Its just recently we have been bad. lol Nd is very tough to play in i actually wnet to the navy 07 game there record was like 2-7 and the crowd was into it. u might be thiking about the cubs in the 60s when people went to the games for a beer.btw i am a cub fan

how can you use the fact that syracuse is a top 20 team of all time as an excuse for them to be in the top 25 toughest places to play…. oregon is one of the loudest stadiums in the country with the fans about 5 ft of the field

sorry…9 times out of 10 you would be correct…but this year NCAA took the Madden-route and did very little to improve the game from last year…meanwhile…madden finally did what it takes to be successful on the next gen: it made DRASTIC changes…

i guess we will have to agree to disagree on replayability…while scouting is more fun in NCAA, clearly having players on your team for more than 3 or 4 years makes Madden all the more exciting to me, especially now that it appears that franchise statistics have been made more realistic…

madden is at the biggest risk for gamekillers, always is…. and btw pasta could you perhaps check the dynasty and simulate through a year or two and see if the toughest places to play changes?
