Comments on: EA Sports World won’t have online dynasty component

has anyone heard what the minimum number of human controlled dynasties teams are needed for on-line dynastey?….and what games is ea having on-line dynasties for? {madden, nhl09, ncaa09 ?}….will all stats be kept in on-line dynasties just as they are in off line dynasties? such as rushing yards,passing yards so forth and so on for individual players?

seriously, what’s up with the website still being “beta” after 2 years?

so what’s the difference between what the website will do now, as opposed to what it did when it first started (aside from the pretty new paint job).

I’d agree that 2K has been doing leagues for a long time (with websites), but they’re greatly flawed. If anything, there should be rants on how terrible their leagues are. With every 2K Sports newly released title, there’s a bug in their league system. from mixed up trades to pitching fatigue issues, 2K’s leagues are a hack.

I hate to say that because I love 2K Sports (pre next-gen).

Yeah it is a bit ridiculous considering 2K has had this going on forever and EASportsWorld is still in this beta mode which has felt like well over a year now. EA is so painfully slow with new features, updates. I know I’ve harped on FCS teams not being in the game for the third straight year. It’s just stuff like that that really makes fans upset. If EA would just deliver on these seemingly simple things (and I can say that since it seems our friend 2K delivers on most features for their games) then no one would really have complaints with EA dominating the sports game market.

I don’t think it’s about “just turning on your Xbox” and looking at the stats. If you look at the video and pic addition of uploading to EASW, it’s about making a statement, “look what I’ve done.” Anyone who has been involved in leagues knows that your league forums are the place to talk about things going on etc. The ability to go to EASW and view stats and maybe copy and paste to your forum to talk about things is much needed. I wouldn’t say EA is dropping the ball, but they are missing the open man in this one.

2.) hey Pasta any updates on Offline Dynasty mode?? The demo is coming out in a few days and the community has yet to hear any new additions to dynasty mode/recruiting.

No big deal for me personally, but again I empathize with you guys. Just when you thought EA has finally gotten their collective heads out of their asses, they go and pull a move like this.

I guess some things just never change.
