NCAA Football 09 demo coming June 19th

I’ve just received word that the demo for NCAA Football 09 is expected to be out on Thursday June 19th for both the PS3 and 360.
The demo will feature a rematch of the National Championship with Ohio State vs LSU. Also included will be a mascot game featuring the Gators vs Longhorns. Both will be on varsity difficulty with two minute quarters.

Is Ubisoft Interested in Buying Take-Two?

Forbes has taken a look at Take-Two statement that they have been having buyout discussions with other “interested parties” besides Electronic Arts.
They believe this could only be Activision and Ubisoft. They further eliminate Activision because of their current merger with Vivendi on the belief that they are probably too busy to deal with a buyout.
That leaves Ubisoft.
We know that Ubisoft is looking to get serious about acquisitions and have recently earmarked a lot of money for just that. Could they snatch Take-Two away from the jaws of EA?
Forbes doesn’t think Ubisoft can currently afford Take-Two at EA’s current bid. They’d need an influx of cash to outbid EA. Take-Two might be a little too ambitious for Ubisoft at the moment, but it’s definitely a company they’d love to have.
Ubisoft does not yet have a sports arm, with only one title currently announced (Shaun White Snowboarding) in the sports genre. 2K Sports would be a welcome addition to Ubisoft’s stable.

I was not going to download the demo since they usually take forever and are released right before game time, but seeing this comes out almost a month before July 15th I am definitely downloading this.

I’m sure there will be…but no idea when that will happen. I’m not sure how the release of NCAA will affect a possible Madden demo being as early as NCAA”s. But you can tell they have confidence in these games this year, having the demo come out a month before release is a great example of that.

Just get a silver membership if you have any type of ethernet internet access you can just sign up for a silver membership for free and it allows you to download stuff from the Marketplace

is it going to be one of those demos that you cant download until like a week after it comes out if you have silver? My gold subscription ran out 2 weeks ago so that would suck if i cant download it when it comes out. Im really looking forward to the game.

LSU and osu are not fun teams to play with. They should of had Florida and Usc on the demo . Also instead of a mascot game they should of had two more teams.

Can I just say that hemade it very obvious? YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT ON PS3 AND XBOX 360! It’s the only way to get the demo! I am excited thoug, four more days!
