I’m more concerned if the gameplay is going to be improved more than anything. I mean all these “ground breaking features” won’t mean anything if the gameplay isn’t drastically improved. I’ve played Live since the mid 90’s & I hope EA has their priorities in order this year. I thought last year was a good step in the right direction & I could see the upside in the game. I really hope the gameplay is as fluid if not more fluid than 2k’s. The overall game feels too robotic and jerky at times. The passing, dribbling, rebounding, blocking shots, rim physics, net physics, collision detection, & overall animations need to all be improved. I hope they add hundereds of more animations from dunks to layups to driving to the lane etc… I think EA sets themselves up for failure when they hype the game up like it’s going to be the best basketball game ever. They 1st need to get the gameplay to be on the same level as 2k’s before they can say that. There are things that Live does better than 2k such as presentation & graphics but 2k pays attention to detail & the little things more. It’s time for EA too really take advantage of next gen hardware to the fullest. The honeymoon’s over & now it’s time to deliver.”

U said everything i was going to say I was a huge Live fan before the next gen jump.But it’s like NBA 2k feels more realistic and plays more realistic.U can have all the best and greatest features in a game but for a basketball game if it’s not solid gameplay in the game it means nothing.I know nba 2k has it’s flaws but NBA live is way behind so i choose to play the better of the 2 games.

I do agree with Josh, EA’s hype-machine only shoots back, it ruins the reputation of the LIVE serie in a longer term, overhype the expectations, and everyone is disappointed after playing with the final product.
It is like a Lexus promotion for a Renault Twingo…

“XtremeDunkz – Sorry, no superstar mode this year. We’ve been working on something new this year that we’re pretty excited about. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to talk about it now because I probably wouldn’t have a job tomorrow if I did. We’ll be announcing it at E3. We’re pretty sure it’ll change the way sports games are made.”

could someone mention in the blog to get the courts right like the sixers because it now says sixers not 76rs but it says 76rs on the ends and also more throwback jerseys and also the sixers red alternate because it has been out for like 2 years now and it should have been in last year

its gonna be lebron because ea always picks like a big superstar in the nba wade,arenas,t-mac,vc…etc 2k is not the same theyd did it this year but usually dont so its either lebron or the tuth just my opinion
