Madden 09 Achievement List

The full list of 360 achievements can now be found thanks to xbox360achievements here. As I’m sure the question will come up, no the game will not have support for the just announced PS3 trophies.

Just a couple quick observations. Only 25 this year as opposed to the closer to 50 from past versions. The list seems reasonable in that there aren’t any that I instantly know I’d never have a chance at getting. Some of them are pretty random though such as the 7 pass TDs with the Falcons or 300 rush yards in a game with using the Jets, though no difficulty level or max quarter length is specified. With the team specific achievements it looks like they’re trying to encourage mixing up team use a bit. I also found it interesting that there are no online specific achievements even tying into the much discussed new online leagues.

The more achievements, the better…I wish they’d at least keep the ones they had and even add more.

Not only are there no On-Line acheivements, there’s really no franchise oriented acheivements either, which are my a favorite of mine – ie – pass for 4000 yards, score 50 touchdowns, whatever

Looks like they gave the Acheivements Project to the EA intern this year

Well there aren’t many dedicated to franchise, but I believe the “rival” ones apply to rivalry games in franchise.

Yeah they’ve stated they are in, but I personally can’t say I noticed any when I played or in any of the screenshots thus far. I wasn’t really looking for them specifically though.

I sure hope that photo you have of Portis isn’t indicative of what the Redskins helmets are going to look like. The outlining white stripes down the center are way too thin….

Horrible…..It’s like they don’t even care…No creativity whatsoever. What ever happened to Franchise achievements? Records achievements? Winning streak achievements? There are so many more creative achievements they can come up with.

I agree on the 1st posts. It’s childish.

Anyway, I too think we could see a little more depth with the achievements, but ti’s all on the fun side. No big deal.

Jesus Pasta, you make it sound like the PS3 will never see the trophies for madden while in fact PSN has already stated that many games will be patched to include this new feature so it is entirely possible if not likely that the throphy feature can and will eventually wind up in madden.

Sorry for the short rant but you were having a senior moment there…….strike that……..fanboy moment there.
