thats not easy to say dont play without the rosters c'mon now every players exact name for free and you expect these people to pass on that trust me anyone who knows that these rosters are free is gonna be going after them first as soon as they get their hands on it

Its funny how people have had a copy for almost a month and has given it nothing but praise, but when the game is set to release all these problems arise. No one finds any coincidence in that? If EA give him the code, then they just broke the contracutal agreement with the NCAA Union Body, which prohibits student / athletes from being name in any game.
I understand that he is not going to rat out EA, for giving him the name code, but at least tell us how to fix our game so we can have our missing teams back.

Dont go silent on your fan base...especially when other creditable sources (Fairdale, NCAAStrategies) are calling you out to make a statement regarding how to fix our problem

Thats cool man...I am just saying, I haven't had it happen to me and I am using Pasta's roster. I have a 360....and cant understand what "freezing" everyone is talking about.

Pasta didnt create these names. It was already confirmed on Operation Sports by Fairedale and NCAAstrategies that he got a roster code from EA and they were automatically downloaded. That's why the rosters are freezing because the code that created the names went past the 11 character max limit.

Pasta, what happened with the NCAA roster file? We are your loyal fan base who frequent your site, but yet you are ignoring us after telling us to download the NCAA Rosters from your gamertag.

How can we trust you, if you know that this NCAA roster file is causing our 360’s to freeze (confirmed by Fairdale and NCAAStragies to be your file which is causing the error) but you are not responding to anyone about this subject.

Come on man, just tell us how to fix our NCAA game? Dont go into hiding, it doesnt make you look very credible.

I haven't picked up a copy of the game yet, (I don't have any inside hook-ups!) but from what I've heard there are some potential "Game Killers" in the form of bugs or freeze ups. I can't imagine getting a few years into a Dynasty (online or not) and having it freeze up or bug out. That would not only cause me to not play the game, but I'd probably break my flat screen TV with my controller as well!! I just hope these problems aren't "Game Killers" but rather just issues that can be avoided or at least tolerated.

Pasta, I haven't heard from you on this topic. I know you're busy, but could you throw us a bone here and at least give us some hope? False or not!! LOL. But seriously, the game comes out in 12 hours....What problems can we expect to deal with?

You DO NOT have to be someone's friend to access their EA Locker. You just goto the "Online" menu in the game and go down to EA Locker. Once in, just input the name of the Locker you wish to access. In this case it's "Pastapadre".

Do you have to be Pasta's friend online in order to access his locker to get the rosters? If not, how do you go about getting the roster from someone's locker?

Pasta doesn't owe anybody anything. It doesn't matter if he got his rosters from EA or God himself. Pasta didn't make the game. He was using a feature of the game to help us the general consumers. If there are ANY problems our anger, frustration, or discontentment should be directed at EA. Again, it doesn't matter where he got them from, they're available to us at no cost. Separate the two issues. Pasta did something to help us. EA developed a feature that may cause issues. Either way, both were an attempt at making the game more enjoyable for us.

Pasta, keep your head up man and don't listen to these morons on here.

And you can.....if you have a XBOX 360. I think the issues are on the PS3 but cant say 100%.

as long as i can play just quick games and game modes and stuff with the named rosters ill be happy

But regardless......bugs or no bugs, this game is the SHIZZ! You all will be very happy with the actual gameplay!

I have the game already and It does "freeze" at times.....like the end of the game, but all i do is press start and it comes back. So far, not a huge issue. A few issues that I have with the games are:

1. A receiver will catch the ball 2 yards away from the sidline but the "tip toe/falling down" animation kicks in.....the guys is 2 yards away from the sidelines!

2. EXTREMELY high CPU completion percentage.

3. DB coverage......at times, the DB ill be 10 yards away from the receiver in man coverage.

Like I said long ago... 2kshare.

EA knows NOTHING about online play and roster without hiccups...

Maybe they should get Take two, online stuff would be better

I believe that the new feature is nightly roster updates. Including created players, all transactions and stat alterations. It is dependent on the prior nights game performance. The updates will also include the previous games starting lineups.

on Gamestop, ncaa football 09 seems to be available today July 14.

Hey Pasta, you are always a reliable source when it comes to performance when it comes to online play. Have you or anyone else here played enough online games to be able to comment on any lag issues or report that everything is running great? This is going to make or break my online dynasty participation.

figures that ea is trying to deflect blame at two of the most respected community guys. their editing feature is causing the problem, not the rosters.

all editing of rosters are freezing...that includes the rosters included with the game...that's why the people trying to get rosters out are havin trouble as well...its not just pasta's rosterst that are causing the game to freeze...go spout your conspiracy theories elsewhere...

Unless EA gave him a file to test/try out.

I keep hearing that Pasta got his rosters from EA. If so, then the problems may lie with them. Besides, they cant give a roster file to someone like that or else the NCAA could sure their asses very quickly. And out of all the people that could get a roster file, why Pasta????? The freezing is occuring because people try to edit his file. Whats goin on?
