Earlier today Gamespot hosted a live stage show demonstration of NBA Live 09 which included producer Brent Nielson. Of course one of the main topics discussed was the recently announced 365 and the player DNA along with “Rewind”. There is a great deal of gameplay shown throughout the 10 minute video along with the demonstration of signature play calling. It is also mentioned that the demo for the game should be out around mid-September.
Continue on to watch the video and be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments.

sdot, you sound depressed or something, why don’t you get off the live website or go jump off a cliff. We’ve already heard a thousand times how you feel. Just go find some 2k nuts to jump on “real baller”.

NBA Live 2009 wins best Innovation with Dynamic DNA at E3.
July 19, 2008 at 10:53 am
Pasta,
How will DNA affect how you manage your dynasty? For example does it make sense to make trades (if you manage a team that has a goal of improving it’s roaster)? What would be the point of the practice facility? Wouldn’t the stat tracking of DNA’s daily updates overwrite all of this?
At any rate this is a great feature and very welcomed. I’m really looking forward to both titles this year and especially Live. Hopes that gameplay is solid (fingers crossed).
Thanks,

Brad, don’t worry about sdot, he’s a “special” one. One or two of his breed usually pop off in here once or twice a year.

no i buy both games because i enjoy both but live’s gameplay may have improved but it will not be better than 2k’s[/quote]
Pat,
Same here, man. That’s why I’m getting both too. Looks like Live ‘09 is improved over last year. And I missed out on 2K8, and 2K9 looks much better than last year’s game.
