EA Gameshow Shutting Down

After hanging around for nine months EA Gameshow is coming to an end as of July 25th. The live interactive sports trivia game never received much of a push from EA and subsequently never gained any traction with the masses. A small but dedicated group of players remained throughout.

When Gameshow first started up I was hooked. It offered a unique experience with live hosts and their interation with the players added a lot. Once I stopped playing though I just couldn’t find the motivation to start back up again. In a way that addictive nature may have done it in for me as it almost seemed like a time committment would have to be made to play it.

I used to play all the time like you did, pastapadre. I remember the pastapadre night. Then they stopped improving it so I stopped playing.

I'm sure it will come back eventually in some form. I too loved it and then lost interest, but it was a good idea, and showed a lot of innovative thinking on EA's part. I was not a fan of EA doing sports trivia during the day and turning it into a pop culture trivia game at night. That, more than anything turned me off.

I played for about two months but haven't played recently. It's a shame because the community there is so great.
