Throwing deep 8 times in a row determines passing skill? Wow, the biggest failure of the Madden series has always been the pencil-neck dev team not “getting” football.

The game still has terrible physics(momentum), blocking is still sticky and random, and poor representation of height over distance. Which means another year of LB’s jumping 12 feet to intercept passes they can’t even see.

The next gen Madden series has been awful, a much bigger change is needed, unfortunately they associate sales with quality. And ya, I’ll buy this game, and Madden 10 with look a lot like 09.

Yeah it kind of does. When you cover a reciever its called defending the pass. Getting TDs and trying to score does show how well you pass. Your not that smart when it comes to football.
