Update on NCAA Football 09 Issues

The roster editing patch is currently in certification at Microsoft and Sony. There is no specific day the patch will be approved and pushed out but it should not be too long now, possibly by the end of next week.
The second patch, which is intended to improve different gameplay elements, is still in the evaluation period. Right now a reasonable expectation on when this patch will arrive is September. So far it will include fixes to sliders, improvements to kick/punt return coverage, and various tuning to areas such as zone coverages, man vs RBs, and strafe catching. There will be more included in the patch but as of now those are the things that are confirmed.
The issues with Online Dynasty have been identified and some fixes have been implemented that should prevent them from occuring in the future. This didn’t require a patch as it was server related. Anyone who has a dynasty that they are locked out of where it boots you back to the menu screen can leave your gamertags (commish preferred) in the comments and I’ll pass them along as they may be able to recover the dynasty.
No word yet on a fix for the uploading of online dynasty screenshots. It is apparently being looked into.

The patch automatically downloads to your system when you’re hooked up online.

You guys are stupid; I would like to see you make a game that has 0 bugs!! Part of the risk in implementing a new feature such as online dynasty——of course your going to have a few bugs; the process will get better and better. For all you complainers I would like to see you in EA shoes and try to produce a flawless game…….SIt on the couch and do what you do best…..nothing

Any dynasty started on or after July 23rd (should) not have these problems occur.

One of our guys came up with a solution to the online dynasty lockout problem, and so far its seems to work okay. It requires commissioner-hopping, but was fairly easy. One of our guys was locked out, and I was the commish. Another dynasty member saved the dynasty as on offline dynasty, and created a new dynasty based off of that save, with him now as commish. New invites were sent out to everyone, and the guy locked out was able to get back on. Given that the league was saved to offline, and then immediately spun back online, everything was nearly the same (I had to redo my recruiting). Now it seems like everyone is back in and able to continue the dynasty, just under a new commish. I then deleted the dynasty under my name. Theoretically, I suppose the old commish could save the file and do the same thing to get his position back, if so desired. Anyway, hope this is helpful to someone. I know I was pissed when I found our league was broken, and hopefull we can now continue, despite EA’s best efforts to deny me some NCAA enjoyment.

We got access to our dynasty back, but all it did was to restart it from the beginning. Is there any way to get back to the point where we got locked out?

I updated my dynasty, but all my other users are still on last week and it shows them having to play their games again! However, I am correctly updated. I heard something about it uploaded to the wrong locker or something. Is that the problem?

Thanks for the tip above Beermonster317. The guy in your league who did that is definitely a genius! If EA can’t resolve all of the issues there is no reason why you can’t do what they did. Solved our league lockout issues in less than 5 minutes!!!

i got mine fixed all i did was get the commish to delete me and send me a new invite and everything was the same, recruits audibles and everything, if you are the commish and locked out though i dunno what to tell you.

I’m locked out of my dynasty also, its still saved apparently but where i need it to be (in the locker) its not there for loading, it says “NO ACTIVE DYNASTIES” soo will you please tell me how to fix it or help me….A_unit25 ……that’s my gamer tag!

C’mon people through the thread…it downloads automatically when you load your game and you’re hooked up online. You don’t have to do anything, it will prompt you that it’s updating.

We have already fixed the issue where players were unable to join their Dynasty, and we have repaired most or all of the Dynasties that were affected.
However, we are aware of another issue where players are unable to actually see their Dynasty in the list. We are working on this right now, and we have a workaround in place for Dynasty members who are experiencing this issue.

My dynasty does not save correctly. The comish shows the week has been advanced and I am still stuck in the prior week. Anyone else having this problem? Will this be addressed with the patch?

Hey does anyone know how to make the rosters sign in automatically. Because everytime I sign in I have to go to load rosters and click on it. Is there anyway that the rosters can be uploaded when you sign in?
