I worked around it though. First I would try to upload a picture and it would say that it failed. Then I would go and upload a video and it would succeed. Next I would head back and upload a picture and then it would succeed in that as well. So maybe the temporary fix is to open up the connection with a video upload and then you will be able to upload the pictures that you wanted.
