In fact, when he signed with the Broncos to play Free Safety, I was very surprised. Here is the link to the John Lynch stats on NFL.com stating him as a FREE SAFETY LIKE HE HAS BEEN ALL HIS LIFE (except college were he also played QB). Now, the broncos website has all their safetys listed as only that, safetys because they have 4 guys fighting for 2 jobs and don’t know how they are going to be aligned (McCree, Abdullah, Manuel and Lynch). For this, there is a chance that he MAY play SS this season, maybe not, but it would be nice if you can change his position, for example when I start a franchise and I want Lynch as my FS.
