Full Game of Madden 09: Bengals @ Colts

There was some interest in seeing the new Lucas Oil Stadium, so for this game I went with the Bengals (CPU) @ Colts. This is a competitive game throughout that goes into overtime. It is the first recorded game that I’ve used the Madden IQ rather than just standard All-Pro. Another game will be posted tomorrow.

It has become very evident that you’ll need to play games with at least 8 minute quarters in order to get anywhere near realistic number of plays, stats, and scores. Drives tend to chew up a good amount of time which limits the number of possessions.

Before anyone makes a comment about it, yes I was trying to call a timeout at the end of the first half, and no it wouldn’t call it for whatever reason. Continue on to watch the game broken down into six segments.

    fireworks happen in domes. I live in Cleveland, I HATE ALL CLEVELAND TEAMS as i was born in Cincy but there are fireworks inside the cavs stadium. (THE Q)

    Haha, its actually called field turf. Most NFL indoor teams use it now becuase of the injuries that happen with regualr hard turf

    I was watching the producer vid on xbox live and he showed players losing footing in the snow have you seen that yet Pasta? And does the wind speed have any affect on a throw ball yet? That is something thats been missing which i think would add a great deal of realism.

    I really haven’t noticed much if any affect from either.

    Hey Pasta,

    I’ve had the same problem with calling a timeout a few times in NCAA 09. It just didn’t respond to my button presses no matter how hard i jammed on select. You should pass this on to Tiburon and have them test this out since this seems so be an issue.

    The CPU only ran for 14 yds, got I pray this aint Ncaa09 were the CPU cannot run worth a damm. I just want a CPU rb to break 100 on me ocassionally .

    The CPU ran well against me in the Texans-Titans game. Other than that game though they haven’t been able to. When they run to the outside they end up losing yards as seen in the videos. Ironically I’ve found outside running to be the only way I can gain bigger chunks of yards.

    After playing in heavy rain, I retract my earlier statement that the weather didn’t seem to have much affect on the game. The next full game video will show that, plus an improved running game as I took on a new strategy.
